I would like to correct the information about the FORTIFIED PASSIVE! Some of the illuminates plasma based attacks do have an initial explosive blast and the FORTIFIED PASSIVE will help reduce that. FORITIFED now is an A Tier Armour Passive.
Acclimated has an additional benefit, in that it protects against a lot of the crowd-control weapons that we have. So if you load into a team with a bunch of randoms using everything from flame-weapons to arc throwers, then you can survive your team much better. Especially if they are low-level players who aren't used to the area of affect weapons yet.
Exactly .. This is the reason I use the armor, also because I run gas granades and gas strike. With this armor, I can drop a granade right at my feet when the voteless start to accumulate in my personal space and I dont take a lot of damage.
personally if my teammates are killing me often enough that I’d willingly sacrifice my armor perk, they’re getting kicked. If you don’t have situational/spatial awareness you don’t need to be playing diff10 with us competent players, go learn the game first
With fortified one unmentioned bonus is when you run with weapons with explosive damage. Like plasma based weapons, crossbow, grenade launcher. You can survive your own splash damage. Good if you’re surrounded by the horde.
See to be honest mate i dont think i can really fault you on all you your recent tier lists, definitely the most accurate i have seen! I do run scout passive for all factions and would probably argue its B tier but get what you mean it doesnt feel as useful against squids at this moment at least
I have heard some people say the illuminate are the easiest faction to run a stealth playstyle against due to the watchers being the only unit that can call in reinforcements, and those things are almost blind.
I appreciate the feedback and I'm trying my best to bring the best information I can do from all the hours of gameplay I've experienced. We Dive United under the Banner of Democracy!
For me, Extra Padding and Siege Ready are my exclusive S tiers. I typically prefer to run a Resupply Backpack because I'm a gremlin with Stims and Grenades, so Engineering and Medi-Kit are somewhat wasted, though the longer invuln on the latter is nice. Siege Ready just works nicely with the loadout, since you can just absolutely magdump endlessly with Low Magazine/Long Reload weapons much more efficiently until you reach 0, where you just restock to get the full amount again. Really good on the Fire Breaker.
Just subscribed. Watched a few of your videos last 2 days and all your S tier rankings are ones Ive been rocking but dont see many other use like the crisper and gas grenade. Only thing on this list I don't agree on and this is because of my playstyle, is the new armor passive (50% res to eveything) is S tier, my loadout has all elements (gas strike, gas grenades, crisper, arcs) and usually team mates run arc so having resistance to everything comes in clutch at times
I attempted running the fortified passive due to their use of plasma style weapons, using the logic that our plasma weapons deal portions of explosive damage. This seemed to be entirely ineffective though and provided no noticeable increase in survivability compared to just running heavier armor with a different passive. ie: the new seige-ready passive, 9 mags of Dominator is very effective and the faster reload makes easier to handle the more CQC style layouts.
I would put, Filtration and Inflammable into their own tier called Flexible. Because it entirely depends on your loadout and if you plan to stand in your gas/fire to let the horde kill themselves to get to you.
Seige-Ready not having a medium armour is criminal. If arrowhead isn't going to give us the ability to swap our armour passives, the least they could do is release them on all variants.
Hate to ask, but if you could mute your mic if your gonna swallow. It’s really loud over your microphone, idk if it’s a headset mic if so I’d recommend a stand up one.
@@Frenchtoastedfruitloops It does seem to work for me. But i also tend to pair with the new shield or ballistic shield to further tank their shots. But when running with fortified and shielding it barely does anything.
please clarify for me the scout armour, does the passive ping of a marker on the map reveal side objectives like SAM sites or SEAF? thank you for your efforts and breakdowns btw
The ping, acts as a additional Radar sweep, in a different location, allowing you to see enemies that would not normally show on the map unless you where a lot closers. It will now show additional markets but you can guess based on the enemy's presence and their movement.
Electrical conduit is S+ tier. 90% of the things that kill you are Electrical. Only armor that keeps you from being memed by the tesla towers and harvesters
The overseer that wields a staff deals explosive damage plus the jet pack ones throw high explosive grenades so I’d argue with that in mind and randoms always blowing me up with horribly timed and placed explosions fortified is definitely an amazing choice, I always use it and never have any issues with anything
Granted, explosive resistance is useless against illuminates for the most part, but thats not what it protects me from. It protects me from my own exploding crossbow shenanigans.

I have been killed by allied Arc Throwers/Tesla Towers/Flamethrowers/Napalm/etc. more than I can count.
Personally, I haven’t died once yet to the harvesters electric shock, I’ve literally walked under them with a machine gun and sat there.

Great list thanks!
With the curret planet effect Acid rain Acclimated is perfect. Protective against Acid and Shocksame time

Just a note on teh fortified, due to the overseers using plasma weapons, the fortified passive works at reducing the explosive damage of their shots.
Is that actually confirmed? Because I've seen lots of conflicting reports on that and i couldn't tell a huge difference when i ran it vs them.

If you see a few enemies seemingly in the middle of nowhere, they are probably on a POI or Side Objective.
Democracy protects is the only thing that could help against harvester beams
Doubt killer with unflinching is my jam. That armor just looks so cool I don't care about the passive.
You do your thing Wolf Brigade.
Once they give us a Heavy Unflinching Armor, I think I would run that Passive against the Bots.

Illuminate may not deal explosive damage, but squad mates do soooooo 😂

Both overseers deal explosive damage, the staff ones bullets are explosive and the grenades, plus it protects you from yourself and allies lol 😂
illuminate shots are explosive
bug spit is explosive
I've come to disagree and be overly critical of other people's opinions. Lets get started. 😂
