They're very different, ryu cancels the animation instantly after a parry, leaving the opponent vulnerable, gief doesn't parry, his is an invincible move that leaves a bit of grey health, and, can be canceled at any moment, abigail parries an attack and does a counter, you can combo out of this counter since it puts the opponent in a state similar to a crush counter
@@idk72. Indeed, Gief is a "Super Armor Stance", while Abby is a plain ol' counter, but in function, his counter seems strictly better than both the other's V-Skills (Plus FANG and Gill's, as well)

What I've noticed so far is players are not utilizing patience. Abigail has broken armored moves. Quick rise = death. Jump ins = death. No patience = death. Execute the polar opposite of those = victories. My main is Karin. With her low health, I had no choice but to figure this out.
Seems as though with the SFV community every time some one gets beat by a low tier they are instantly considered cheap or abusing a mechanic while all I see is a better player beating a worse one
They need to fix his hurt box to much shit whiffs on him then fangs poison ball fly past him if you try to zone him when he does that running fall on you that should not have projectile invincibility.

It's pretty easy to beat him actually, All you really have to do is use medium dash with Ibuki to do mixups. Ibuki is his counter.
