    "You're under arrest!"
    "Whu fo?"
    "Narcotics possession."
    "Hey, I don't even live here."
    "OK, burglary and trespassing, too."

    One thing I definitely noticed about these old 90’s episodes is the cruisers always have squeaky belts

      Belts have come a long way from the old days. Also one of the first things underfunded precincts would cut down on was maintenance.

    I use to watch Cops in the 90's. Pittsburgh police wasted no time with suspects. They meant business! When they told you to do something? You did it!🚔

      Pittsburgh (Seasons 3 and 4) and Las Vegas (Seasons 2 and 3) were two instances COPS filmed twice within a year on separate occasions. They also utilized unaired footage from their first visits to use in the next season. That happened with both Las Vegas and Pittsburgh.

    The days when the Police in Pittsburgh actually tried to keep the City Safe. Now they just let anything go, Turn on KDKA, Shootings every day, People living all over the streets, Open air Drug Markets, Homeless Encampments. All the work these people did has completely been undone.

    • @mommy2libras
      @mommy2libras หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes because police are totally to blame for homelessness becoming a big problem over the last 30 years. It's also absolutely not a problem in most other major & medium sized cities. Maybe we should just quit pretending like we care and actually go ahead and make being poor a crime like many people have been wanting to do for a long time. Here in Florida we took an interesting approach- we made being homeless illegal and we now arrest people and give them a criminal record for it. Of course we don't actually address the issue of why people are homeless or the skyrocketing prices of rent, homes or homeowners insurance, nor do we do anything about wages being nowhere near enough to survive on forcabout half the working population. Nope, just arrest, release and give people a court date and probably some fines that they can obviously afford, seeing asthey have money and all. Watch to see how it turns out.
