Wow when you said that it’s important to try things you don’t quite feel ready for that really resonated with me. I’m about to be graduating with a BBA in SCM next semester and I find myself struggling to feel ready to apply for certain positions for after graduation. I’m mostly just nervous to make a fool of myself during the interview process, but I know I have to put myself out there.

Thank you for sharing your story with us. I just started my career as supply chain planner and I don't have university degree on this. You are right about alway push yourself to learn new things and alway have faith in yourself. You have inspired me a lot.

Absolutely correct Mr.Rob and I'm also completed My MBA in Logistics and supply chain management and intrested this field very much and wish to grow global supply chain for developing the supply career doing MITx SCM programme.Your guidance and support need for starting a Supply chain Consultant
Hey Rob, I'm a recent supply chain bachelor graduate...and frankly I have no idea how to get started. I am becoming more and more painfully aware that degree and job training are two very different things. Any advice :(?
Hi Rob, can you please share some tips and ways to have a successful career in the field of Demand Planning ? Also, if there are any video/website links that talks about best practices of a good Demand Planner. Thanks in advance.
Hey Rob, loving your content! I’m currently in my final year of bachelors study in business administration and I want to build my career in supply chain. What resources are useful to get my basics right in the field and also which masters programme is suitable so that I can kick start my supply chain journey?
There are so many resources out there and so many courses it would be impossible to recommend anything specific, sorry. Though one of the best value is probably ours 🙂 www.supplychainsecrets.com/
Hello Rob,I'm currently in my final year of bachelors study in Economics.I want to build a career around supply chain and logistics.Any advice,or to go for a certification course.
So, I am a Business Analyst working in a IT firm using cloud WMS. I moved from developer roles to QA to BA. But I find the process improvement Analyst role very fascinating especially to improve KPIs. What would you advise me? How do I go about this?
Amazing video Mr. Rob. I am from India and an MBA student studying Logistics Management in Germany and currently in my final semester. I have already finished one internship which lasted for 6 months in East Germany and will be moving to the West for my second internship. I found myself thriving when I was expected to offer a creative and an innovative approach to a certain set of problems and mundane monotonous work has always put me off. How should I approach to maximize most of the opportunities in my second tenure as an intern?
Hello Rob, I hope you are doing well! I was going through your videos and got your videos to be very helpful. I do understand to look forward to an SCM career we need to take a step towards a field job related to SCM. But due to the pandemic, it is uncertain for me now. To give my background, I am working in TCS(Tata consultancy services) as IT Analyst for the last 5 years and worked for client dealing in shipping and manufacturing(Maersk Line and ADMC). Now, I have a good GMAT score and aspire to do an MBA. Before MBA I want to do certification in SCM and I am confused between certification from ASCM(APICS) for CSCP or any university like Michigan University(Global Master Certificate in Integrated Supply Chain Management). Doing certification from CSCP will definitely give me a good edge over others but the one thing that pinches me is the validity of the certificate is only 5 years and I will also have to go through an exam. Seeing all pros and cons what would be a better certification in respect to learning, future recognition in Industry all over the world and cost-effective?. Your valuable input will help me decide to take the course. Kindly suggest.
Thank you sir it's a great inspirational words.sir ,I completed my PGP in logistics operations and supply chain and iam looking for a job and I want your advice about whether I should choose a job in warehouse or a office job relating to what I studied as a fresher and if I choose warehouse do I have a growth. Sir I'm planning to Ms in Supply chain in UK but someone suggested me that work for a year or two and get some experience and I'm from mechanical background so what type of job should I do?
I have 7 years experience in MNC in India.. would like to learn more related to this subject..a diploma or short-term program...my aim is to get job abroad
Hello sir Thank you for sharing your story and feel motivated .I am now in my 2 semester international logistics and supply chain management I want to pursue my carrier in global trade and logistics Need your assistance how to plan the path need your mentor ship and insights about the resources and courses which add value to my knowledge and trying to learn more about opportunities
Sadly I don't provide mentoring services, as running 3 businesses leaves me very little free time. That's why I try to share what I can here on TH-cam.
Depends what you call pay well? The average salary in Australia looks like it is $60,000. A starting salary for a SC graduate would be higher than that. For middle and senior SC managers, in a large organisation, $300k + is not uncommon. But it's all relative. Depends on the country and cost of living.
@@whalegamingyt5972 That's an impossible question without knowing you, the country where you work, your plans. But an MBA will usually be better than PGDM.

Dear Mr rob Can you create a video on facing a supply chain interview efficiently
I haven't done an interview in 30 years! So might not be the best person for it.
Good evening. As a CEO, how much is the PMP certification valued in supply chain management? I also intend on taking the CSCP.
Thanks.
I think professional certifications are always well regarded, as long as they are directly applicable to the role.

I think growth potential is more about the company you work for, than the actual job function. So pick the company first and job function second.
I'm currently pursuing post graduate diploma in supply chain management. Will Getting apics certification help me with my career?
Yes, APICS is well recognised.

Is an online bachelor degree in supply chain worth it
