thx
PS I did managed to add driving video please like and subscribe
The best part of your videos is that you take pride in your work and do it the right way one time. It really pays off. Great work, Ben.
Ben you do a great job showing your teardown and rebuild procedure on the honda 5 spd. its a good challenge that i would recommend for a diyer who has a good bit of experience repairing cars.
Great videos. I enjoyed it and learned a lot. Thanks
Ben’s videos are the best I have seen. I do believe that during the reinstall of the main case (at end of part 3 of BGRA) the feed tube that goes down through the fork was not installed. At least when I followed Ben’s instructions, my BGRA had a tube down through the fork. Since the car test drove fine, I assume he did install the tube or that tube has no main significance.
Think you for your comment
Yes the feed pipe that goes through the fork was installed it was stuck in the end cover my apologies for my battery dieing in camera that's why y'all didn't see...
I have more videos coming thinks
Can you make a video on how to change just the Sprag bearing? I struggled assembling that SOB and couldn't find any videos or tips. I rebuilt my BGRA just watching your videoes. Disassembly wasn't difficult but getting that bearing installed was a beast.
I will definitely make a video
Hi Ben. Greatly appreciate your videos. Had a question about your fluid recommendation for Honda AMT transmissions?? Is Valvoline Multi-Vehicle OK??
Hi Ben. What company do you recommend for getting the rebuild kit from?
Thank you for these great videos! I wonder what kind of parts cleaner you've used when cleaning all the parts as they are shiny and looks brand new! Thanks again!
Auto zone brake cleaner does the job when your parts washer isn't working.. 15 to 20 cans I always catch it on sale $1.50 can...
@@bensautorepair9914 Thats why I never get a can for $1.50...Ben done get them!
Nice work buddy
What’s the difference between the BDGA And BGRA?
What rebuilds kit do u order
What kit are you using to do these rebuilds. Like kit number and where to buy
Do you have any video of Honda Ridgeline transmission tear done are rebuild
I don't at the moment to be honest I haven't done one yet.
I do know it's basically the same as Acura tl and Accord V6.. 5 speed automatics only thing different is there's a transfer case bolts on to it because most Ridgelines are 4wd or AWD..
Once I get opportunity to do one il have a video up ASAP. Thx
@@bensautorepair9914 ok thank you 👍
I don't know if this is true, that Honda Odyssey automatic transmission can't travel for 900 km at one go, on a tropical environment without having an issue.
Is that true
Long as it has plenty of fuilds and you not pulling a damn trailer
I see lots of people puting a Trailer hitch on the Odyssey there not made to pull stuff.
The people I built this on for drove to california the next day from NC
Have you ever done a Honda Ridgeline transmission rebuild ? Because I would love to see a video on that if you do let me know which of your video is it
I haven't had the opportunity to do one yet depending on what year you have they are set up the same as Acura TL and Honda Odyssey
What's the reason you don't want to change gears, can only gear 1 and 2 be? On the scan there is no DTC. Please help
If it's not changeing gears or stay in one gear no shift its 2 things it could be clutches are welded together or stuck valve in valve body
@@bensautorepair9914 All clutch pads have been replaced, cell kits, piston kits, valve body have also been replaced, but still only gears 1 and 2 are functioning 3 and 4 are not working, does the ECU affect the transmission?Because I saw the ECU was repaired
If u see someone has been messing with the ECU yes that could also be the problem.
It's hard for me to say exactly what it could be I wasn't the one that built it
These transmissions are very sensitive.
thank you, I have got the problem, there was a leak in the iron pipe connecting from the valve body to the clutch housing broke so that the oil distribution was not perfect
Where are u located
Es muy buen la encehan soy mecanico
