It has not being showed in this movie but actually what happened was Sir Kamte got out of the car and shot at ismail but unfortunately he was shot back at his hand while his weapon fell. when he was about to pick it up, he was shot multiple times to his death

Reality is far from what has been shown in scene.. The most suspicious part of 26/11 is death of these 3 police officers.. These all 3 are not ordinary police officers, but well-trained officers. One of these, Hemant Karkare , who was then ATS Chief of Maharashtra Police, had also worked as RAW agent in Vienna. They were not fool to drive like this to find terrorists. Don't believe at all.

Poor tactics from Mumbai Police. First a senior ranking officer should not be travelling around in the thick of the action in an unarmoured vehicle. There should have been a specialised SWAT team to deal with the situation. But Mumbai Police did not even have a SWAT team .
Taking on trained terrorists is every different from picking up unarmed, untrained gangsters and then shooting them in a staged encounter.
It wasn't that easy,India was not that economically stronger at that time,India could barely afford to build it's own handguns
