This is one of the greatest motivational talks I have ever seen a gamecock couch due. The fans sacrifice going to games every weekend. The players should never forget that. This is awesome!!!!

Such a magnificent message. I was adding pieces to it in my mind while I was listening. Granted the fans aren't always behind you when you don't play well but the point is that they care! And the last thing any player wants is to play in front of a fan base that doesn't care...or worse, doesn't even show up. That will never be Gamecock fans.
Best speech i have heard in a long-long time. He could have made that same speech in the air-conditioned part of the football complex but would have not had the same meaning.. I hope Coach Beamer is here for a long time.. let him recruit and let him coach !!!!
8 years ago my brother and dad spent 200$+ worth of tickets to sit in those very seats vs Clemson. Back up against the top row. I chose not to go because I was young and scared we would lose. Biggest regret of my life. That game hasn’t been worth the ticket since. So happy to have a coach that can relate to that.
This is one of those type vids I would have taken to my mom and shown her, and we would have teared up together watching this. First season without her. Gonna be intense in more ways than one when they run out that first game for me.

I want this man to be so successful that he retires from SC. Such a nice change. From coaches just padding their resume for the next job, or trying one more time just to see if he can do it. (All though much respect for what Holtz and Spurrier did for the program. But F@%$ Will Muschamp.) I think a lot of people are overlooking his recruiting prowess as well.

That’s after they talk a big game at the tailgate, flipped off opposing teams and fans, threw trash at the refs, and cussed out their own players. “Best fans in the nation?” Nahh…trashiest people in the nation.
You know it’s coming. The SC program is about 3 or 4 years from becoming Alabama SEC East. You know it’s just around the corner. So congrats on your National Title but UGA has traditionally underachieved and now you have no where to go but down. Kirby’s good but he won’t be better than Shane once Shane gets there! Everyone knows it!
@@naturenupe6 we just won a National Championship with a 4th string, walk on QB. If that isn’t OVERACHIEVING I don’t know what is. And a USCjr fan calling out anyone for underachieving is the funniest thing I’ve ever heard!
@@BegginMegan362 Truth is, even with last season, Georgia is an underachiever program. Georgia should be better than Alabama if you look at location and demographics. But Florida should be better than everyone. That’s just the truth. And even when you’re good, you find ways to fall to South Carolina more than Clemson!!! Y’all lose to SC with top 5 teams at home!!! So if SC just stay the course with Beamer, they’ll beat UGA most of the time, for sure. Because y’all have been stupid enough to be a B program when you should’ve always been A+! You’re that close to Atlanta as the state school and can only muster two championships in 40 plus years. I grew up with one of the starters from the Herschel championship team, and it has always amazed me how you guys suck relative to Alabama. SC has sucked relative to Clemson I admit but blinders are coming off! And they finally have a young dynamic coach who’s committed long term. And while I respect Kirby, Shane is a more magnetic person long term.

I lost my mother 6 years ago and she would have loved this video and of course Shane. So sorry for your loss, i miss our game days or any day.
