A cello piece, written by a baroque german composer (known for his proficiency on organ), played by an Asian guy, on an Irish bouzouki. Indeed, TH-cam is making this a much smaller and more interconnected world!
Holy hell, Sir. You have played beautifully. I have just introduced myself to the Irish bouzouki via TH-cam, and am now in love with the instrument. Just like you, I also love Irish music. Please continue to post more videos. :)
This is it!!! The video where I first saw and heard the Stevens Medieval Bouzouki. What tremendous joy it has brought into my life----Thank you for being there!!!!
Daoiri, I have one of your albums-Pat Rainey is one of my favorites----You and Osa are the only two musicians I know that play bouzouki--love both of your styles!,
Osamu,as a self taught guitar player I 1st heard a Bouzouki in my local music shop and straight away fell in love with the sound of it. I asked the shop to look out for a 2nd hand one and to tell me when one becomes available as the £140 price tag for their new shiny one was a bit too pricey for me. On Friday I got a call from the shop to say that they have one 6 stringer that came in and would I like to see it?I was over like a shot and after handing over £60 am now the proud owner of a Bouzouki. I love what you are playing and hopefully one day I may sound as good as you do.
Greetings Osamu, not as well as you,I was listening to your playing again, great stuff,i have gone back to my accoustic guitar but I do still bring it out to play on it,the sound is so great. My trouble is that being self taught, you get into so many bad habits early on which is good as well as bad.I like my strings tone to be a little higher,I could use a bridge but it's easier without and so upon tuning my strings sometime snap and that's whats happened to the bazouki, one of the strings snapped and I had to retune and as a consequence lost the notes that I had in the shop.I have about 7 different guitars including an electric one (found in some bushes in London, complete with mini amp and lead)but I always drift back to my old favourite playing the same old, same old,a shortish song thats on a loop.If you search for a film clip here on TH-cam you will find it,it's my own composition and about 12 seconds long,it's an orange dragon juggling mushrooms, also my own work,so please leave a comment.
Great playing and so good to hear a classical piece on the bouzouki, just found this & hoping you’ve done some more and are still playing 🙂 love from UK 🇬🇧

Who made your lovely Bouzouki? Love the red tuning buttons!
This is gorgeous. Thank you! Is there zouk sheet music or zouk tab available for this?
I'm sorry to reply late
and so sorry don't have any scores.
Thanks! I wonder why you recommend 432 Hz. A friend of mine tunes her lyre in 432.
Very interesting. It's a little bit harsh for my ears, but I think that is the nature of the instrument. Enjoyable.
Thank you for your frank opinion. I'm so glad to hear that.
Wait till you see a real Greek bouzouki... This sounds very mellow compared to the original...
Thanks!! :-)
Great played! How do you tuned your bouzouki?
Well, now I think I can say I've seen it all.
