@@RandalTurnerMKULTRA dude I am loving it. Got it hooked up, set up and printed my first bench all in one hour. I've been very impressed. The learning curve is a little steep in terms of figuring out why certain things printed a certain way but the printer itself has been a blast to mess with
This is the only good video I have seen on this 2 model. I have been trying to get a look at the filter. The dust from pla and PETG seems to give me issues……I’m seeking out an enclosed printer with a filter kit.
I can't seem to find any good photos or detailed differences from the 1stgen X-Plus besides what they advertise on the site. I really want to get my eyes on the x+2 before I buy one. Maybe see one in operation? Not a single TH-cam video pulls up the X2 that I can find besides your unboxing. This is as good as it gets😆
I have the Qidi X-Plus. I'm wondering if parts (the extruder) on this model are compatible with the older model. Does the USB on the front now write as well as read? I have also the ability to put a glass bed on mine with bull clips (I have to take the handles off the bull clips temporarily when I use them though). The filament feed route from the inside printer spool up to the extruder is a bit ambiguous so I run a bowden tube up through the top (drilled a hole and did a 3d printed assembly in side to hold it in place. Plenty of room inside so I fixed an extra carbon filter with fan that just recirculate air within the printer. I have also fitted a chamber heater. That 30mm filament holder tube on the top I printed a reel insert so it was better centred and also revolves easier. The low temp extruder nozzle (they are 7mm MK10 nozzles by the way) has PTFE tubing going down into it. The High temp extruder nozzle is solid so the TPFE stops at the top of the nozzle. I made stainless steel inserts for my low temp nozzles and replacement high temp nozzles to allow the same arrangement (this really works well had helps preserve the life of the PTFE tubing). I only use the blue capricorn tubing. I have also fitted fans to both my high temp extruders (mount is there, connection is available - but no fan?, also printed a couple of fan ducts in ABS [Thingiverse]) I also printed a stand fixed to the top right of the printer on which I can sit a dehumidifier box holding a reel. I use this when I print Nylon-CF. I really like my X-Plus it has proved to be a very reliable printer producing good results in PLA, PETG, TFU, ABS, NylonCF, it even prints 1.75mm nylon strimmer cord would you believe :-) Manual leveling isn't really a problem, its quick and easy only don't forget to bring the bed up to temperature first because it expands (100C for nylon). Last but not least, spare parts are readily available from Qidi via Aliexpress, I have two low and two high temp extruders mostly because I swap around so often.
I myself am trying to find out all these details on the X2. Heard nothing but good things about the X Plus. I just really want to get eyes and make sure they didn't make a design blunder like bushings that fail, mainboard quality issues, etc.
Bought this for my son. He loves it. Only question is, where do you find replacement parts. I need to replace the nozzle. I like for them to have an extra magnetic bed. I went looking it’s very confusing. If anyone has any recommendations they’ll be highly appreciated. :-)
Just ordered one as my first. Very excited to jump into 3d printing
Same here, gets here this week. This dude hasn't uploaded the follow up video yet - 4 months.... How do you like your new printer?

Whee is continue?
I read hella good reviews on this printer, if I didn’t have a 3D45 I’d definitely get this one

I just got this printer today for my birthday and it won't power on. Any ideas ? I've followed this video precisely as well as the handbook
There is a power toggle switch on the back near where the power cord plugs in... this needs to be toggled on for the Front Power Button to function.
Did you connect Octoprint to the v2 model?
