Yes, unfortunately I've also had to notice that people from Austria carry their noses very high up, and in conversation it comes across as a bit arrogant... that's definitely my experience.

As an Austrian being in a relationship with a German (Vienna - Leipzig) my boyfriend often don’t understand my Viennese. And also the mentality is different! And to correct people on the video3 we are more open and friendly: as a born and raised Viennese I can tell everybody: Vienna just seem to be much more open and friendly, but we don’t mean it most of the time😂
Typical Viennese: we swear all the time and you won’t recognized it cause we do it with bloomy words that often are originally from the Jewish, jennish, french, tzech language …
And yes unfortunately we in Austria don’t like Germans (historical origin - we feel so small and betrayed after the 1st and 2nd world war, and still can’t take that we are not that „big“ like Germany anymore). I have to justify myself every single time when I tell an Austrian that I am in a relationship with a German! Even when it comes to football, we have one sentence that seems to unify the whole country: no matter who wins, main thing is that it’s not Germany! And 90% of the Austrians (no matter of their political background) mean it seriously 🙈
@@monikabeki6838 Eigentlich Schade, dass scheinbar viele Österreicher etwas gegen uns Deutsche haben. Ich finde es krass, dass die Abneigung gegen uns so stark ist, dass du dich zum Beispiel ernsthaft für deinen deutschen Freund rechtfertigen musst. Andersherum würde das nicht passieren. Ich mag euch Österreicher trotzdem sehr gerne, aber das finde ich wirklich eine sehr traurige Mentalität
There are not ONE Austrian dialect. Also in Germany are many different dialects. If I as an Styrian/Austrian speak in my real mother tongue most German are not able to unterstand me. But I also cannot unterstand a Tyrolean/Austrian if someone would speak deep Tyrolean pronunciation.

@@sengarekram6087 Ich meinte nur wg. des Ausdrucks Piefke. Ich hasse doch die Deutschen nicht. Ich finde manche Deutsche nur sehr ungemütlich und kühl. Aber das gilt nie für alle. NRW/Köln ist doch auch lockerer, was ich immer höre. 😀 Grüße aus der Steiermark
@@user-sz7ur8xq5f achso, jetzt verstehe ich. Also in bayern hat mich niemand piefke genannt. Die haben mich halt nur behandelt, als sei ich von einem anderen planeten. Das wort piefke kenne ich nur von euch oesterreichern hahaha. Aber egal, habe die oesterreicher trotzdem lieb. Ja, in koeln sind die leute lockerer. Hier bei uns in der gegend bei aachen(70km)von koeln entfernt sind die leute aber auch locker. Ich denke die kalten, eingebildeten deutschen, die ihr kennt, sind die leute, die auch bei uns in der heimat nicht beliebt sind. Wir freuen uns jedes jahr, wenn die im urlaub sind(bei euch hahhaha). Das ist die zeit im jahr, in der wir vor denen unsere ruhe haben. Ich lege jedes jahr zur urlaubszeit eine schweigeminute fuer euch ein. Ich weiss, ja wie unangenehm manche leute sein koennen. The German of the guy in the video is terrible. It's not just the pronunciation. He often speaks like he has translated every single word from English into German, without adjusting the sententce structure. It also seems that at times he is reading off his script (maybe from a cue card next to the camera) without knowing what he is even saying. Some of his subtitles were also wrong, e.g. at one time he put "yes, unfortunately" when a more correct translation would have been "yes, indeed".
It's not making sense to compare Austria with Germany, compare it with the regions.
Fahr mal nach Kärnten. Da wirst du die pure Freundlichkeit erleben. Wer schon mal auf Föhr war, merkt sofort, dass Deutschland schöner ist als Österreich.

Ich stimme mit einem kleinen Unterschried zu. Österreich UND Bayern sind schöner als Deutschland. Die Österreicher haben einen kleinen Vorteil weil mehr Berge und weil sie freundlicher wirken (meinen es aber wie die Bayern auch nicht so)..
Schönheit ist subjektiv und du hast nicht zu entscheiden, was schön ist
