I have a hard time letting go of my things especially growing up never having anything of my own. Even though I don’t use them, I still like to look at them. They remind me of how far I’ve come but I feel really stressed out having them because I don’t use them anymore. Last i touched them, there were dust here and there and it made me so so sad. I want to sell them but i just feel so emotional
Makes me realize I really need to sell my Prada Re-edition strap. I have the same one you had, and I just never use the strap/little SLG. I already sold my multi pochette strap. Amazing how much you can get just for bag accessories!
I've been holding off on the Prada re-edition due to it's trendiness and my desire for something entirely timeless. So interesting to see that you let it go!! Curious to know what you'd consider as a new 'replacement' for it.
Haven't let go of my pearl flap yet as I've never worn it. It's so pretty but I've never reached for it. Also, let go of my Petite Malle as it didn't hold much of anything even though it was so cute. Thinking of selling my Palm Springs mini and sold my final Dior Oblique book tote a few weeks ago even though I got it in Paris I just prefer the Goyard tote so much more.
What a large bag collection refresh…which can mean new bag collection video?! How would you go about to sell handbags that are not in style anymore? Any suggestions for resale websites or pages?
I think style will always be subjective! There's going to be someone out there that will love it. If you're looking for something quicker/no fuss, that's when you can look to get quotes from consigners. If you're looking for the biggest return, sell on your own through IG or find buyers through facebook groups for specific designers but consider shipping costs/insurance and the time it may take to find a solid sale!
I just got one preloved in black drummed leather and was having buyers remorse, but resale value is terrible for it. I still get so much joy from it though, so glad to hear Alyssa still loves hers!
Where are you selling your items? I’m trying the one in one out method, but I’m sick of getting SCREWED on what I get for my pieces. Poshmark is so open to scammers(literally out a YSL thanks to them). Where can you sell and get a decent part of the money you paid back??
Rarely have they come at a huge loss, since a lot are styles that are seasonal and I keep the bags as close to excellent condition as I can! The Chanel bags have all been well over retail and most of the others are around retail.

It is hard to let go of items you have loved in the past, but you can put that $$ towards an item you will love now and in the future.
Let it go…. As Elsa said… jokes aside in the long run it’s better to sell some and get some new ones that keep them as dust collectors…

I think if you're the type who changes mind a lot which you seem to do, you are better off renting bags than buying
Renting would be a definite loss where as many of these bags were sold for more than what I got them for.
