I have to agree. Really enjoy their guides. And I can't comment on Ulduar. I raided Vanilla and half of BC and then I quit only to return in 4.2 but, so far, ToT does seem like a great and fun raid.

You can use the warlock portal for the tornado phase but if you use it and a tornado crosses the path during the flight you'll get caught by it. Just got to make sure the way between both portals is clear when you fly through.
Shadow Unitframes and the minimap is Sexymap. Then its recount quartz and weak auras as Fatboss have reply to. The chat addon would I bet is Prat And for the bar, bartender or dominos. Myself pref Dominos. You can modify it alot so it fits you!
Nah, I said that back when lock portals were literally broken. They'd despawn on the lock outranging either gateway, or sometimes just on pull. They've fixed it since then so you can set your gateway up ahead of time. But your points are right. You physically move through the space when you port, so if you port through a tornado, it'll catch you.
I'd like to know the name if the add-on that makes a gray outline arround castbars,chat,meters,etc(for the hunter) and red (for the paly). Also,cause i like you much,get Tipsy add-on to move the tooltip field so it wont show up into the meters. Keep up the good work guys!
Like Alexandre below, I was hoping perhaps you could upload the prot paladin UI :) It looks incredibly clean yet still containing all relevant information.
What add-ons are you using there recount or scada with the three displays also what aura/cast bar add-on is that weak auras? You have it set up really well
It is entirely possible to solo tank this as a protection paladin. Just tried it tonight since we were wiping and almost got him down with 1 paladin tank, myself, and 3 healers. Both Hand of Protection and Divine Shield remove the impale debuff. Also entirely possible with 2 healers, you just need to watch yourself a tad more.
no idea what that's called but there's an addon I used to use on my rogue called "SliceCommander" it should pretty much be the same and show your focus.. except obviously on a rogue it shows energy and rogue cds and buffs
We have no choice but to run 3 melee (lack of subs and it's our ranged choices are poor or non existant). We did a simple shift and did 2 groups taking 3 stacks each. It was totally viable.

We did this with 2 tank and 3 melee dps. 1 Tank just runs to ranged group when they need to stack and melee dps has to watch out where they stand so they dont accidently stack wrong time. Its not that big deal if people know what to do.
When I encountered this boss as a Prot Paladin, I singled tanked the boss, bubbling when the first Lightning Storm is coming out to clear stacks and also avoid the damage in that phase. Then using HoP when ever I feel threatened. With another dps this fight is alot easier.
We run this fight with 2 melee, its totaly viable. have 1 dps with 2 healers on 1 side, 2 ranged with 1 healer on the healer. keep your 2 melee behind the boss, 2 tanks infront of the boss. simples. :)
We had the worst wipe of a lifetime on this boss... We'd been wiping on him for 3 hours straight with half an hour raid time left when we got into P3 for the first time and then into P4. Most of the group died from a fist smash with the boss on 2% but the prot pally was still up and dpsing like crzy. He got him down to 31 fuckingk and then died... one hit would have done it :(
I can't help but wondering, why Alex is spamming the shit out of ES when the procs hits. He does not maximize the potential dmg it has from both ticks, by spamming, he will only get 3 explosion by it, insted of 4. As a hunter, this hurts my eyes mate ): Sorry, just wanted to point that out. Anyway, for non aoe-cleave fights as a hunter, BM is a better for boss dmg. Survival is good, and fun, due to more mechanics, but BM is the shit on simple boss fights. Just my 2 pennies, peace bros!

Is it possible to bubble the stacks off of the tank? That way it could be 1-tanked?
Can do, the enrage timer is very long. so shouldn't matter when you lust.
Should we hero twice? at start and then on last boss? 12 minute fight.

Fleetmom.... go to your curse client or the wowinterface website and search for Skada. Hope this helps

ES has been changed so that when LnL procs you can spam the ever living shit out of ES and the ticks stack. Its been that way for a while now.
Maybe you can't find it because its name is Skada.
