Honestly shinespark in fusion is not that useful Other than unlocking the progression in sector 3, it's only useful for some expansions It takes so long to charge up that sequence breaking is impossible
Huh, I never considered head-bonking could be used to get all the way up there. Good work buddy, if there ever is a true glitchless run I hope this gets used!
you have space jump without gravity suit....how exactly is this a faster route? I feel like you had to backtrack twice with a round-about way to get something that is nearly useless at this point. I'm not trying to offend, but so confused.
@@metroidcrafter1626 it LITERALLY shows several faults....first, 10 seconds delay "regular" and "ferenia" apart from each other from the very start because "ferenia" opens up grapple block while "regular" doesn't, yet it's the SAME play as "early space" and it's behind. secondly, "early space" requires pinpoint accuracy bomb timing while holding shinespark, that's a feat that easily destroys time the moment you screw up, that's a high end skill to get. The time differences between the runs are extremely close in comparison that even the slightest mess up puts you behind the other runs that are easier to pull off. It's the same thing i feel with dogya....like, i saw a guy waste 5 minutes....FIVE MINUTES to attempt to destroy the wall for the skip, when I can just do dogya in like 2. But I play the game for fun, and spending 10 minutes trying to get bomb climb perfected is not fun for me. I do early grapple, then early cross to green teleport for gravity suit, and the backside from hanubia into ferenia to grab space, storm, wave then super bomb in that order....least error rate, means more fun, and opens up a quicker route for me to get 100%. But that's me.
@@sabriath the time difference is small, in fact which route you choose is a matter of preference The precise bombs are hard yes, but speedrunners of this game have done harder tricks Besides, I just showed you what is fastet, but that doesn't force anyone outside the top of the leaderboard to do it If you don't find it fun, why bother
The Shinespark in this game is nuts, I personally never thought it'd be this useful.
You never played metroid fusion did you haha

@metroidcrafter1626 there is literally an entire sequence break for diffusion missiles that gives you secret dialogue from the developers lmaooo
Oh yeah, I forgot about that one lol
I guess it has one cool use
One of my favorite shinespark uses in Dread is how you can damage some bosses with it. Great for going fast and Dread Mode.

あっ、そこ頑張れば登れるんだ…。
and now wsj is allowed in glitchless
Yeah, that is awsome!
Is this patched?

no
@@amso7169 thanks! I was wondering if there’s something patched because I got the game recently and received an update just before starting to play

This video compares routes, and it is faster
