It’s funny because it’s true! I think with a few adjustments, this unit can be “off-road…” but I live in Florida, so that assessment is regionally specific. I’ve seen some videos of people doing it, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable. Thanks for watching & leaving a comment! I appreciate that!
Not at all. I don’t leave it on unless I’m cooking, but I’ve never had a heat problem with the Truma fridge. I think the big reminder is make sure the Blackstone is cooled down before rolling the slide back in.
I completely agree. I also think the frame isn’t quite up to anything hardcore. That’s just my opinion, though. I’ve seen people tow this camper places I just wouldn’t trust it to get up/down safely. The other side of that is that living in Florida, it’s all basically flat & easy & experience matters when towing. 😀
just subbed , i've been looking at these campers for a bit now , thanks for the review , was wondering do you have to get the tent on top if you don't want it, and also what is the inside dimensions like to carry my 10 ft kayaks inside if possible , thanks again
Thanks so much! forestriverinc.com/rvs/travel-trailers/no-boundaries/NB10.6/3793 has the dimensions of the 10.6. I believe you can get the camper without the tent; I think I’ll end up taking mine off to reduce drag when I’m towing it.
@@OverNoobin thanks, would you buy again, I'm actually looking at getting a enclosed trailer and making similar lol , but really like this little camper
@@LONEWOLFOUTDOOR-S I would buy again IF I could get a better level of service from the manufacturer. I really do believe it’s a great fit for a Jeep due to the limited towing capacity. There are now campers that are light enough to tow with the Jeep & have wet baths. And if you’re heavy into off-roading, I would not recommend this due to the tongue structure.
@@OverNoobin I have a full size crew cab so towing isn't an issue , and I have all sortes of campers , drive kind and pop-ups and 30 ft campers , but this one struck my curiosity with simplicity plus a few ceeature comforts
@@LONEWOLFOUTDOOR-S that’s exactly why I bought it. I was getting into tent camping but we needed power (& AC in Florida) & a bit of protection in the rain. It’s basically a tent on wheels & I love that. I highly recommend adding a water heater, though… game changer.
Use silicone on the door cracks and order weather stripping. Buy the small tube at lowes. Super easy to carry around
That’s the current plan. When we get it back, we’re going to do a lot of fixing ourselves.
ALL trailers can go off road...... ONCE! The trick is getting them back on the road.

Love your channel! Do you find there’s too much heat on your cooler from the Blackstone?

If you plan on taking it offroad you need a 360 articulating hitch not the regular ball hitch set up.
