The Calais would naturally win because it was just updated with loads of tech features from it's global resources. @@lochlanmcdermott4872hahaha, the aurion of the time made 5 more kw, the ford made 100 nm torque more and had a much fatter torque curve, sounds to me like your full of shit
I went CapriceV more comfortable than any
@bradplahn
Let me guess, you're a commodore driver, enough said.
This is perhaps the WORST car review.... who the hell buys a Holden or a ford.... and how the hell can the Holden win! I mean come on... those cars will break down SO easily... go for the Toyota! Toyota's are so reliable
Why tf would they break down? onto my 3rd commodore and have kept the previous ones for 6-7 years an not one issue. My VF is now 5 yrs old and hasn't missed a beat. best car I've ever owned... and I've owned AMG's.
M8 my ea falcon is still running on the same engine and tranny. Yes the Toyota is reliable but don’t say the ford and Holden are unreliable cause they aren’t. I own a few cars and all my falcons run fine and my vn only blew up a couple weeks ago at 800k.
The Holden yeah, if your sv6 was putting out 210kw stock it would eventually want to pop too, that's 10kw off a stock 8, Ford's run a amazing straight 6 that will MANG behind that Holden till it breaks down and then it wins in the end hahaha truth is these cars are a cut above the rest when it comes to 6s and 8s. Toyota needs to stick to 4wd.
How old was this reveiw and long after is your comment?
50 grand for g6e... dont think so
trusty toyota always takes the lead. no need for any argy bargy between holden and ford though i am loyal to all
I'd get the Calais cause it's a Holden, not a Ford Falcon.
A winner of what? 6 years down the line and Holden is no more. So even if you bought it new, you have an extinct car.
The Calais would naturally win because it was just updated with loads of tech features
from it's global resources. But the styling looks awkward with confilicting geometry everywhere and an ugly front and terrible rear. Ford does look elegant from all angles
but that centre "command system" is poorly positioned and is easily affected by
sunlight reflectionsin the daytime. The Aurion is overall damned UGLY. I believe the best ever Falcon was the BF mark 2 for the exterior but especially the fantastic job on the interior and the excellent dashboard design still looks great even now in 2015.
Scenery in 4K Agree m8. Also people have to remember that the fgx is the rival to the vf not the fg. The fg is the rival to the ve and the only reason why they were compared was cause the fgx wasn’t out yet
The aurion is miles better but the torque steer is too much.Driven all them
Still a fleet car interior and looks.
What a joke of a review did not even mention price tag on each. And with all the money holden sucked out of the government ford still made a better car😁
Give the G6E any time....in turbo
None of these cars are made now.
Isn't that great.
You want a large, luxury sedan and you choose a six cylinder? The fuel saving is small and life is too short, get a V8 Calais. The driving experience is at a whole other level!
Get a g6e turbo, more fuel efficient, quieter for luxury purposes and faster😉
@@SkiRacingOz G6s are beasty and I have great respect for that motor but the one 6 cylinder I want to own is a JZ. I drove one and I don't love the sound they make but you can hear and feel how supernaturally smooth they are. Some journalist said revving those 90s toyota motors is like "ripping silk."
I think that smoothness is beautiful balance and that 90s Toyota engineering is why they can do a million miles. They're truly freaky.
I'd feel dirty driving that sort of Holden.. Only holden I'd drive is, Maloo, GTSR or VL
This guy sucks at car reviews..
The Aurion does not even stand up to the Falcon or Commodore. The Aurion is bland, ugly and cheap.. and that steering wheel is pure nasty. The Falcon may be a good car to drive, but the exterior is very bland for a car which is meant to be a luxury car.. The Commodore wins hands down. Not to mention the price.. the Commodore is cheaper than the Falcon, but more expensive than the Aurion. Honestly, why would you choose anything other than the Calais V.
How gay can this comment section get that ford is 🤮
The Toyota won, it lasted the test of time
Front wheel drive no thanks
drag erm see who wins
Ford the best
Aurion is better that those bogan shit boxes
+Porya Khosravi Calais V is supreme cruiser, you fool.
Us bogans love the Aurion!
Only issue is, the Aurion is FWD
OMG are you serious?? That Toyota interior is down right cheap and nasty. Step into a VF
Aurion outruns them too. And probably more reliable
lol bias
V6 Vsucks
Toyota will outlast the both though. And of course the fords interior is outdated. Its the same model since 2008, but with a facelift
Stupid comment .. I see Falcons do over a million ks YES A MILLION. and early models going back to 1960 are STILL on the roads ..who tf would keep an Aurion for that long !!! What a tosser you are ...still wearing sandals with socks and a cardigan ??? Aurion outlast a Falcon ...
The Toyota has a v6, the ford has a much simpler i6 that is proved to last hundreds of thousands of kms, people talk up the Aurions longevity because of the badge and the fact that Camrys last ages but I’m afraid the ford will outlast the Toyota, they’ll both outlast that shitbox alloytech though😂🤣
Yes Toyota is the most reliable of them all BUT not many people can look at it everyday because its just SO UGLY!
