Oh boy! You will never be the same once you start cropping your pieces 😂 It really does save so much time and money. I agree your one piece would be hard to crop. There are just some designs that wouldn't look right if you do. Congrats on all your August finishes. They are all beautiful! Thanks for the shout out again 😊 I didn't realize I wasn't subscribed to your channel so I went and did that 🙂 Happy stitching!
Thank you! You really inspired me with all of your WIPs! I'm starting to do it with my paper patterns too. 🤣 I'm really exited to see if this helps me get through some of the projects that have been lingering in my WIPs. Thank you again for visiting with me, subscribing and for sharing all of your beautiful WIPs. Happy stitching! 😊
@officialmermaidscove1376 I've even done it on a few pieces I'd been working on. Got to the point that I wanted to finish but didn't want to stitch all the background. Crop it! 🤣 I think it will help you out a bunch 🙂
@kaylitentstitch6614 Thank you for taking the time to visit my channel and leaving such kind words! I love watching your videos too and following your progress on Instagram. I really want to see my Ying Yang Dragons finished this month so wish me luck! Happy stitching 😊
I didn't know Nora Corbett had a patreon. Do you only get one pattern per month? Other than the price what's the difference between the Mermaids and the Queens? Thanks
I'm not a part of Nora Corbett's patreon so I'm not sure what the perks are. As for the price difference are you referring to Nora Corbett or Autumn Lane Stitchery? As far as I know for both designers they have different pricing based on the size of the design. Nora's Mirabilia patterns are usually bigger and more elaborate than her Nora Corbett designs which are smaller so the Mirabilia's are usually more expensive (~$18 versus ~$10). She does have several queen designs that are currently not printed for sale so people resell those patterns for a higher price than typical Mirabilia designs, prices can vary but go up to x20 what a new Mirabilia design costs. Autumn Lane Stitchery also had a Dark Queen series which are larger and more elaborate than their standard line of designs and are also more expensive ($18 versus $9)
@@officialmermaidscove1376 No, I was just referring to Nora's patreon. I need to re-watch your video. I thought the dragon was Nora's patreon design because that's what I got that when I joined, a dragon. The info was very confusing to me on the site. I might ask Luda because she finished the Blue Bee and said it was a Nora patreon design. She showed all the beads, dmc, etc used so i wrote them down and will try to adapt the Wichelt/Nora Freebie to those beautiful colors. I'm not a dragon person so I was hoping for mermaids, fancy ladies or insects. I may not be a member for long. I'll wait to see what the next design is before cancelling. I have a lot of Mirabilia designs & really can't understand why a company would let them go OOP so others can charge a fortune for them. Wichelt (& I guess Nora?) could be making the money instead. We went through that whole conversation when people (including me) wanted Lady of the Flag. They put it back out but limited to something like 10 per LNS. So many people don't have a LNS and they sold out immediately. They could have done 100 per shop and they could have made more money selling each one. I know it's pretty un-attainable for me and I'm not wasting my time & energy hoping to get a copy. I just don't understand it. Meanwhile her mother's charts are still out there even after her death. Oh well, thanks for trying to answer though.
Love all your mermaid pieces!! ❤❤
