once upon a time, i went to homegoods and discovered the most beautiful chinese terra cotta warrior of all time. however, i was broke as a joke and decided i'd come back for him on valentine's. the day of love, my heart was broken. my noble soldier, sun tzu, had already been sold before i came to claim him. my soul shattered. my amazon account informed me that the $40 homegoods hero was $2,000. so i wept uncontrollably but mostly not at all and forced my unwilling chauffeur to take me to barnes & noble to pour my sorrow into less than $2,000 but more than $40 of emotional compensation. then i watched lucy hale kill people. insert law & order gavel sound here
