Loved the lunchbox story. Also cool that Jason wanted to buy Jimmy’s because it was like the one your dad used. Nostalgia is what got me started into antiquing.
It’s great to see Silka doing her Crochet blanket. It must be relaxing for her after a long day at the Heart. She deserves to put her feet up and chill as it must be hard going the amount of work she does 6-7 days a week.
Q for next week’s coffee talk. Can I hire someone to search at the heart for me? either commission or hourly? (ie if I’m looking for teapots but can’t get there) maybe a side gig for Scout. ❤️😁
27:08 The size 2 may have been a baby ring. They made real ones for children, and womens' pinkies really were that bitty sometimes. I have my great-grandma's ring here and I don't think it's even a 4. Pre-kids it went on her ring finger; it doesn't even go onto my pinkie. To size the really tiny stuff, use a calipers and a chart; that's how I always did it. For loose stones, check with a place that buys gold; they often have bags of stones taken out of pedestrian settings.
My bank will not allow me to buy anything on whatnot. I've gone to the bank and they say there's too many scams. So frustrating. And yes I have a decent balance in my account
