What I find interesting is how this is from Centuries ago but speaks to the present in volumes. The part where Paul writes how we need to pray for everyone we know every way we know how(especially government and leaders) is clearly relevant today. Also how women can become beautiful by doing beautiful things for God as opposed to focusing on physical beauty. Women need an alternative to what society offers as beauty. Trying to make yourself physically beautiful can be and endless cycle,a trap and a facade, Making yourself spiritually beautiful takes the humility ,faith ,love, charity and obedience Paul is writing about. We will. One day. Right now we are finishing up James and the Thessalonians. I, personally, have a lot to prep for with camps coming up next month. Acts and Hebrews are long books.
