Purpose: To offer encouragement to suffering Christians
Setting: Peter was most likely in Rome when the great persecution under the Emperor of that time, Nero, began. (Peter was ultimately executed under persecution). Throughout the Roman Empire, Christians were being tortured and killed for their faith, and the church in Jerusalem was being scattered.

Just as a city tears down buildings of no use in order that new ones can be built, to be used for a new purpose, my life or my building, was torn down by my sinfulness. God allowed me to be destroyed so that He could erect a new person. My former life had a cornerstone of this world. But Jesus put His cornerstone when He began the construction of a life that glorifies Him. Christ's love for me, corrected me. He walks with me, gently directing my steps. Opening my heart and eyes to live a life that shows others who my Father is. He continues to give me the courage and strength to do His will. Life is difficult at times, but I am fully aware that through these trials and storms, He walks with me and is just a prayer away. Christ is my leader now. This world has nothing for me, and I am so thankful that Jesus Christ has opened my eyes to see this now. Praise God.

We didn't write it, bro.
We chose that one because it's more of a contemporary language type read to be used as tool to bring the Word to life and better understand what was being written.

Even if nobody listened. We believe this REALLY brings Paul's Epistles to life.
And to answer your question...lol...Ya never know, man. Nathan wants to. But it takes us roughly 2 weeks or so to complete a 5 chapter letter with just one voice. We would need an entire team to do the Gospels or any book with dialog between people, ya know?
