Thank you so much for your tips! It works. I lost the plunger for my kid’s lens after he wore it and we struggled to get the lens out. We finally got them out after watching your video. You’re our life saver!

I’m using a plunger thingy they gave me. I don’t know any other way to take them out except for using the plunger. This helped a lot, thanks.

Deku me too, I’m watching this because it got stuck in my eye once because my eye was dry and it was stuck, I’m traumatized tbh😂

A plunger is a good way to get it out quickly. If your eye gets dry and it suck in then put eye drops and massage above the contact to loosen it,

For those who are new to this, please do note some important tips from me(i started wearing these lenses for a year already)
      1. it is much better to put a flat mirror on your desk, look down on the table when you insert them .
      2. When the mirror is flat on the table, you need to add a few drops of special lubricant to make it more comfortable wearing. ortho k lenses are quite hard compared to normal ones.
      3. Ortho k lenses are ones you wear overnight. So When you remove them, put some eye drops to rinse your eye, because your eyes might get dry from the overnight application of lenses. If you use the plastic plunger to remove with dry eyes, there is high possibility that you might get your corneas damaged.
      4. Ortho K lenses are very easy to be broken apart, so keep in mind dont press it too hard.
      5. Be ware of the hygiene of your eyes and the lenses.

This is the most theoretical and scientistic way. My son couldn't remove it away for one hour with a different way which was taught in eye clinic, but he did it with your way just one minute. Thank you so much.

Is it to pull it like she did then blink to get it underneath the lense so it pops out?
