- So I went in aldi lol never again 🙃 and picked up the ingredients to make my own Chicken Bhuna and it worked out at £3 per portion

Looks good, as always. Their curry sauces are pretty basic, but, hit the spot for a quick tea and in budget.
I always add a few frozen peas in, and a few tinned carrots in to make it go further .
And some corriander .
I used to use chicken breast for cooking but tried thigh meat for a change and glad I did and I’ve never used breast since, there’s a lot more flavour in the thigh and it’s not as dry plus it doesn’t seem to be pumped full of that gloopy crap 💩👍
Easy too debone n deskin aswell takes no time at all don't buy the pre done ones they charge you nearly double just for doing that save money if do yourself...whole chicken thighs in like a sweet chicken chasseur or a chicken hot pot on the simmer for hour you can eat the chicken with a spoon littarally 👍
Chris, we must be from the same pod! I'm very uneasy in crowded places also and often just keep to myself while shopping .
Nice one Chris but hey get to Home bargains next to big Iceland near park and pick up the packets of Indi grand butter chicken sauce about £1 it’s real good buddy also the sag and add some fresh spinach

I first learned of Bhuna’s through Gavin & Stacey.
I’d love to try one at some point.
I’m more of a Korma, Prawn Cocktail, Onion Bhagi, Naan Bread and Popadom kind of guy (my bum thanks me), but I will have to try this at some point.
A Bhuna is nice they're not crazy hot but about three or four times hotter than a Korma

my in laws do there shopping at lees aldi, because even though they have a aldi in ashton its the posh aldi apprently.
Never seen so much chaos since it opened, used to be dead when it was co-op.
Completely irrellevant but the national folklore outfits of Norweigian women are called a "bunad", sounding nearly equal to your curry, lol, very pretty those are! 😁🇩🇰🇳🇴🍻🚬

Indeed - I was born in 74 so grew up with the whole "if you don't eat what is on your plate you'll go hungry" - and it wasn't a bluff.
We soon got hungry and started eating what was put in front of us.
My Aldi can also be annoying.
As you’ll go down the isle, and you’ll have a trolley in the middle, nobody next to it, kids running around unescorted, then people behind you, it’s a nightmare.
You do the thing where your like “I’ll come back to this isle in a minute” and there are even more people there, I’m thinking “I only want a lettuce”.
I am great-full they don’t play loud music though, at my local ASDA I sometimes feel like walking through the Deli Section (which takes you into the depot), going up to the office, and saying to the Manager “do you take requests, as I couldn’t see the DJ Booth downstairs, so I came up here instead”.
Not fair and i’m very jelly 👍🏼
Go to Aldi or any supermarket after 7pm. An entirely different experience.

Another classic curry Chris and I am with you all the way on Aldi why do people have their trolley in the middle of the asle and browse at both sides it only seems to happen in Aldi and no other supermarket 👍👍🍗🥘

I'm not really a people person either hate browsing in most places for too long 😅 and I always find Aldi and Lidl and other supermarkets are better later on when it's not as hectic other times if I ain't got a choice it's earphones in music up high volume and get what I need and get the fuck out of there whilst ignoring everyone accept the cashier 😂
