    I dont know about the other stuff, but I've seen my father and grandfather witch for water and the sewer line when as a youth. we children flushed something down the toilet that stopped the pipe. He used cut copper shirt hangers and did it just like the video and we all took turns digging the hole. It was about a foot down, the pipe was right in the center of where we were digging. Thats been over 40 years ago.

    Hi Chris, well I was so close to you at the time, but I guess your mind was on other things.
    I met members of Diss Rotary Club today who support a project to supply Africa with water and they use dowsing to locate the source of water and dig the wells by hand!
    I'm glad you like the video.

    this is a very simplist branch of Radiesthesia. Basically here is are used pendulums, and cherry branches to detect water and other stuff. In Radiesthesia, you use more complex tools to detect tiny things at an energeticaslly level.

    Is it just me or did this guy seem to find water flowing through where he had previously said there was no water? He searched for it at the start walking from the back of the courtyard to the front, then when he was tracking the stream he went right across it. Seems very odd to me.

    Drowsing does work because where ever you dig you must hit water somewhere in the ground. and if you didn't hit a large body of water you will create a well that well collect water from the nearby rocks

    Hey I live in Asian country and when i was young i have seen the head mason detecting the water using a "v shaped twig". Same principle i have seen him doing it twice both time water would be found between 10-20 feets. We are still using those well to this day. Its not fake, but its not 100% correct also. Sometimes you get misses, but if you have the gift 90% of the time you can find water his way. long before the electronics came this was the main method to find water....

  • @orloxGR
    @orloxGR 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @gatzu86 actually it works. Meaning i dont know what it detects or doesnt but if you try it yourshelf youll see that the rods bend.
    A doser come to my village and found some water and he showed me some things. His method was a bit different. He had a Y shapped wood that was bending down when he was passing of the water(?).

    Go ask a farmer, dowsing is commonly used to find field drains and most farmers can dowse. I've dowsed for coins and other metal objects on the beach, with satisfactory success. (I don't know if I failed to detect a coin, but I do know I don't get many false positives and some of those could be metallic particles I've failed to see.

    lol he walks the full length and rods don't cross, then side to side they cross in a pattern that he says indicated a pipe is disecting the lawn, why didn't the rods cross when he walked down the middle?

    yeah, it works where the water table is at ground level and therefore a random guess has a 100% chance of finding water.

    Dowsing does work! A simple explanation: When you dowse, you connect to the Universal Consciousness. The rod or pendulum is merely a tool. It is your mind and body tuning in to pick up frequencies of the the desired target and tuning in to it like a tuning fork. I can switch from finding underground streams, to finding gold to finding the nearest fox (when I'm out hunting), to looking for whatever I want!! You are only bound by your imagination. Dowsing works...

      If you try it over a know existence of water, of course your hands will make the rods move. But try it in a double blind test and it's no better than chance. Also - Did you know about this? The ADE 651 is a fake bomb detector that was produced by the British company Advanced Tactical Security & Communications Ltd (ATSC), which claimed that the device could effectively and accurately, from long range, detect the presence and location of various types of explosives, drugs, ivory, and other substances. Investigations by the BBC and other organisations found that the device is little more than a "glorified dowsing rod" with no ability to perform its claimed functions. In January 2010, export of the device was banned by the British government and the managing director of ATSC was arrested on suspicion of fraud, and in June 2010, several other companies were raided by British police. ATSC was dissolved on 5 March 2013. On 23 April 2013, the founder of ATSC, James "Jim" McCormick, was convicted of three counts of fraud, and was subsequently sentenced to ten years' imprisonment.

    I'm afraid dowsing has been subjected to a great many double blind trials over many years all over the world, and in every single one we find that under controlled conditions, dowsers are unable to detect water (or anything else) with any accuracy greater than what would be expected by chance. Look up the ideomotor effect.

    These do indeed work! I tried them at work one day. A co worker showed me. We had made some out of some farm farm fence wire we had bent into two rods. I found what I believe was the weeping bed of an old house on Conservation property. I do remember the house as a student. I found the now city water line coming from the old brick-lined abandoned well chamber. Everything lined up. And I know I wasn't forcing the rods..really neat.

  • @WelshAndy
    @WelshAndy 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @thepoondragon you call that a simple explanation? What is this 'Universal Consciousness'? What are these frequencies? How do these frequencies interact with the rest of the universe? How can we measure them? If they have a measurable effect, i.e on the human body, we should be able to measure them.
    Dowsing is a load of pish and has nothing to do with archaeology.

    Yes, it does work! It's the coolest thing I've experienced in ages. A guy at work is amazing with them. I heard it has to do with some kind of current running through one's body? Some people have more current than others and not everybody can get the rods to move. So I hear. I walked with them slowly, getting used to them and they crossed then uncrossed. I backed up, they again crossed. Amazing. I found old water lines to demolished houses, weeping beds etc. awesome and not a scam!.

    I am not saying this is not bogus, but I am willing to try, it won't hurt. Scientists lie and make mistakes all the time, yet we worship them in western civilization. Scientists call anything they don't understand or can't measure and control bogus. Because to do otherwise would mean they are not "all knowing" and we just can't have that.

    Why we hired a scientist to find water on our farm. He comes with some really expensive equipment and few days before he did an aerial study of our farm only to find an air pocket.
    We hire a water dowser who has his tool that is very inexpensive and he finds the right spot tells us his estimation of depth and rate of flow and he gets it close to perfect.
