Hey dude, thanks for the sub! I do like Squad, but one of the draw backs for me is the fact there is little freedom in play style. Especially as infantry as everything is well coordinated. I do think squad is maybe a 'superior' game for team work and proper milsim matches. But I do apreciate the fact in most Arma servers, you can play how you like and help the team out in many different ways. For example sometimes I enjoy going on lone recon missions, and sometimes I prefer to stick with a group of players. Its that freedom which makes Arma so fun.
stumbled upon your channel dude nice videos, been playing arma/dayz since A2 early days onto A3 and now playing reforger alot. Just wondering what specs your PC has? your game looks clean + smooth
Hey man, thanks for the lovely comment! I run an rtx 2060, i7 9700 with 16gb RAM. I get between 60-80fps on Arma Reforger and run on a mix of low-med settings with things like textures on high. :)
Like Arma and Reforger a lot, but am total nut for DayZ. Now if only DayZ could have Reforger engine, that would be a nirvana for me. Anyway sending my regards to Arma/Reforger crowd. Stay strong, lads!
In Arma 2/3 there's like a 1-2s lag from when somebody gets hit to when they go down. Did they fix that in reforger? I haven't played reforger recently
Interestingly, it still exists, but I think its intentional. I assume in real life adrenaline kicks in and your body doesnt know its hit right away. I also think it varies between distances, sometimes there is delay (maybe taking in to account velocity and distance the round travels) and sometimes its instant.
