Arma is a great game not going to lie. Especially when you have a rig that can do ultra settings. I play for the gameplay rather than the graphics though. :)

@@primesoccer2059 I do a bit of post processing with the footage, which is probably what you are seeing here.

you should be glad that they've changed DayZ Engine and made it playable. Before the engine update, the game was running so bad that even the beefiest rig used to get horrible performance on the lowest settings.

@@OXY187 I know how DayZ ran back in the mod days and as well as early Standalone. But that doesn´t change anything about the fact that Refoger´s version of Enfusion is miles ahead and allows for cars and helicopters to function quite well. DayZ Standalone´s cars are quite bad and helicopters are nowhere to be seen. Plus there are other things like modern lighting systems, longer view distances, grass & shadow distance that this newer Enfusion handles a lot better. Would be great to have at least DayZ sequel running on this tech.

Yeah, Im not the best at kiting mobs to be honest. Ive now upgraded my gear, realised how to actually apply clade gifts and no longer using that trash axe lmao!

hey mate, u get that title not too far in to the gameplay. Doesn't take too long to kill 50 zombies and I only have 5 hours of game time in Mo2.

Really loving it so far. Did some PvP today which was a blast. Just going to not get too attached to gear etc and just explore what the game has to offer.

Hey dude, thanks for the sub! I do like Squad, but one of the draw backs for me is the fact there is little freedom in play style. Especially as infantry as everything is well coordinated. I do think squad is maybe a 'superior' game for team work and proper milsim matches. But I do apreciate the fact in most Arma servers, you can play how you like and help the team out in many different ways. For example sometimes I enjoy going on lone recon missions, and sometimes I prefer to stick with a group of players. Its that freedom which makes Arma so fun.

Hi mate, this is server specific regarding kill feed. Arma Reforger does let you know how much ammo you have in a mag on your HUD, same with Arma 3.

Hey man. At the time of this recording I was using an i7 9700, RTX 2060 and just some 16gb DDr4 RAM. Im also fairly sure Im running on low here, but with saturation up high to give it some more 'color'. i have since upgraded my pc though.

@@tmzeehd thx for letting me know, really appreciate it. How does the game run on your new pc now? I have a 3070 and 5700x and i get between 70-100 fps on high. but it stutters often and when im in dense areas, it drops to the 40s

@@saadiqborez2231 Hey mate, I get 150-180fps with a 4070 super. But honestly, this tanks down to like 80-90 when lots is going on or if Im in a high conflict area. I think its more to do with arma than the rig istself. :)

Honestly, I think the lag/rubber banding and the fact my rounds weren't hitting that guy at the end was 100% karma for using that spot!

Hey man. I have a 4070 Super, i7 14700, 16gb DDR4 RAM. Running on 1440p at High graphics. At 1080p I get more like 150-170fps though. But 1440p looks way better!

Hey mate. So as I understand it, I think if u double tap, it puts your character in a permanent state of leaning unless u toggle it off. Obviously Q and E is default, but I prefer using my side mouse buttons to lean, as it helps with shooting and moving while leaning. :)

Use Q for right lean and E for left. Makes it far easier to move and quickly lean around corners

Hey Dude, its middle mouse wheel. If you hold it you can free look! Took me a second to realise too, but its the same with tarkov.

I completely agree. Its in all their games including DayZ. There's even a grass render distance slider so anyone can set that to minimum!

@@tmzeehd probably should be set to a “minimum minimum” distance for PVP - it’s a bit of a cheat, IMHO

@@glennpeterson1357 I agree, its the same in games like PUBG too. Luckily at least bushes and shrubs still render in.

in arma PvP in any of the games one should learn what is rendered at distance or not. arma3 tried to mimic distant grass by making the LOD ground higher than the actual mesh so you look sunken into the ground at around 400 meters out. Best bet if you're being shot at at distance is to just book it from hard cover to cover and thru bushes.

Not much they can do. Servers have the option of setting the minimum draw distance to all users

As you will see, I have zeroed in my rifle to 400m, so the sights are calibrated to a 400m distance. :) Zeroing ensures that the point of aim and the point of impact is the same for a given range. On top of this, engaging players with an M110 at below 400m wouldn't warrant much bullet drop anyway.

Interestingly, it still exists, but I think its intentional. I assume in real life adrenaline kicks in and your body doesnt know its hit right away. I also think it varies between distances, sometimes there is delay (maybe taking in to account velocity and distance the round travels) and sometimes its instant.
