I used to use the energy glitch just slightly nearing its "fix" back in 5.0 to get about 10 cat tickets in total from facing danger, so I didn't feel as bad for PONOS stepping in to try mitigate it as much as possible, it just slightly sucks when stages eat 300 or 400 of your 600 or so max energy for just trying them out, failing to beat it and then having to sit back for about a day before they let you try again, but not a huge deal in the end anyways.
With the Energy Glitch you can farm rare tickets way more easily which also helps with ubers. It's just like seed trackingy just that you get more rolls but it's also random. The potential of the Energy Glitch is actually even higher than that of seed tracking.
I have around 400 leaderships saved up, if only due to the fact that I am extremely patient, and the fact that usually once I use all my energy at the time, I've usually had my fill for a while, and when I open it back up, cat energy was recharged.
Found how to use the energy glitch almost right after I started playing half a week ago. I have adhd and I like to binge play all new games, so this helped a lot. I've already completed all 3 chapters of EoC with full treasures and half the outbreaks, and some levels from ItF and Legends. Currently being held back because I'm waiting to roll my rare tickets and first 750 catfood roll on a better banner. Very excited to try out the mid and lategame.

Interesting material, me personally having around 450 leaderships I remember using up energy to the point when I have just enough to play the last level of a stage so I can be as efficient as possible.
Yea, that glitch... For all time it was a very debatable thing, but personally for me it's very special thing (in a good way) that made me truly enjoy BC. As I remember I started playing in 5.6. Had basic noob problems, and reinstalled game until got my first Uber(mekako). After some time I got a good progress, but unfortunately my phone died, so I had to restart. It was quite painful, but I was determined to reach old progress, and At some point I found out energy glitch. It didn't work at first, and methods of setting time to past never worked, but with time I developed my own(or maybe just some very little known way to perform it) and thats where game really started for me. A spent hours grinding CF with gamototo, just to spin 11 rolls (seed tracking didn't exist in those times as I know), moreover with facing danger I could farm like 160 tickets per hour (seemed to like its a lot), unlikely for me soon after I started grinding facing danger was nerfed, and iit really damaged my will to play, after that my progress stuck in a stalemate and I fell in some kind of "game depression", that, and fact that after certain update I couldn't perform energy glitch after 4 tries, I ended up with me deleting game. Right after doing it though I immediately regretted doing so, but it was too late. For next year I completely abandoned EVERYTHING about BC, cuz I really felt bad about deleting game with lot of progress in game that I love so much. After a while when "wounds" were not so painful I was playing egg.inc and farmed there with energy glitch when suddenly remembered BC, I really wanted to return and de ided to try energy glitch. It worked. It sparked in me immeasurable desire to play. I can talk about it and other thing for very long, but long story short I completed all chapters and events(not those monthly of course) in 4 month, with main achievement being beating HT. So after all my experience of both types of playing I can say that energy glitch can be a thing that will help you determine your play style. That's exactly what happened to me, I had lot of time and desire to advance and with this I could do it, and it's what made me really like this game, just because of huge possibilities I gained. But after all, both play styles are good in its own way. P. S thanks for reading all off this, fore some reason really wanted say, something like that, yet had no reason for this, if ( for whatever reason) you want to have a chat about BC, you can always find me on reddit u/miner3647.
Bro said that people have like 50 or more. Im sitting with exactly 444 leaderships. Before the leadership update me and my buddy and I wouldn't claim our user ranks because we were saving them. After the update, I collected all of those. Im so glad they did the leadership thing
i just wish the energy system was a lot better, its such a pain grinding for treasures in the early game chapters due to every stage increasing in energy cost and having such a small amount of energy to use to begin with
They should just remove it at this point. Most mid-late game players have more leadership than they know what to do with, and the stages they don’t want us to farm endlessly have clear limits already anyway. Like you said, all energy really does at this point is make the worst and most tedious part of the game take even longer.
@@thump989 the reason they added the energy system is so you don’t get burnt out as quick and to make the battle cats a routine part of your day/schedule

It's kind of beneficial to Ponos because if people had infinite energy they'd be able to finish the game rather quickly whereas limiting the stages will make it take longer to complete the game so people won't run out so quickly. This is just what I've theorized, it could be completely different.
@@lancelover789i'v quit the game for years at a time just cause i ran out of energy, especially when there were no leaderships. I'd get done using energy then just forget about the game completely lol
Honestly I don't even think ponos should have done an energy mechanic, everyone just wants to play and have fun in their free time, I don't think it's necessary for the game to be like this, they should make an update about it. (they probably never would)
You can farm cat food way faster with energy glitch than ad farming cuz gamatoto can give 1~9 cat food each time and the glitch takes around the same time as an ad
Other games like fgo already fixed this energy glitch. They made the time unilateral for all players. Pacific State Time was implemented to the server. So the server will set your energy based on the time spent by the server and not from your device adjusted time.
Whilst a faster energy recharge rate would help the players a lot, infinite energy essentially means that progression happens far too quickly, and stage losses are not punishing. With battle cats having a very limited amount of win-determining randomness, trial and error means that any stage will get crushed under potentially dozens of attempts, each with no consequence. Additionally, farming will be far too broken, making it such that you gain an effectively infinite amount of resources, especially since those in lategame can easily clear the earlier farming stages, as the difficulty of a stage will remain the same no matter what. Ultimately, energy is required for a game like battle cats to keep progression in check, whether you like it or not.
I used to sit on the couch at my friend's house watching TV and doing the energy glitch on gamatoto over and over until I hit the cap, then I ran the weekend stage 200 times, xp megablitz about 700
the recovery thing has a catch. If you had max energy before going offline, after spending all of the energy offline you went back online, it would set your energy back to max because it doesn't count the offline energy spent as actual energy.
I've performed the energy glitch on accident a couple of times while just trying to change the device time using timezones (and going back two days, going into the game, going out of the game and adding back those two days)
Based on the earliest reddit post I could find, Facing Danger debuted somewhere in November 2015 which puts it around Version 3.2 for EN. (would link, but my previous comment got auto deleted)
I will add that energy glitching (and to a lesser extent, force closing to restart a stage + wikis and video guides) is genuinely what made pre QOL battle cats tolerable. Battle Cats can (generally) be separated into two types of stages, farming and challenge. On the farming side, the benefits of energy glitch are obvious. Infinite energy means infinite farming, which is great. Infinite grinding for treasures instead of being gated by RNG and energy recharge might even make treasures not seem like a bad mechanic (they still are). Farming powerups is nice too, but you honestly really didn't need powerups much of the time. And then they added cat fruits. What a nightmare. 200 energy to do a catfruit stage, meaning that, with energy cap of 650 at the time, you would be doing 3 stages every five hours optimally, which nets you somewhere in the region of a fifth of a single true form per set of three runs. obviously, this was not good, and energy glitch did a lot to make it easier to farm catfruit, especially for people who, say, could only play battle cats for half an hour a day and couldn't log in for optimal energy usage. On the challenge side, challenge stages tended to have high energy cost (for example, crazed and cyclones debuted with an energy cost of 200 when max energy was 570). Energy would essentially put limits to the number of attempts you had to play challenging stages, and then after you ran out of attempts your next set would be ready in about 5 hours (or one attempt in 100 minutes, or 200 minutes...) which was more than enough time to lose focus on strategies to employ. Furthermore, imagine if you had to approach every stage blind. You just had to go in with what you thought was a good lineup and if it didn't work that meant you lost out on 1/3 attempts due to lack of information. You now have 2 attempts to refine your strategy and hope that, for example, they didn't throw in a random R. Ost to destroy your Bore focused lineup. Energy glitch was something that alleviates that, since you now have unlimited attempts at a stage, and valuable resources like the wiki or video guide makers help you to save time in exploring the stage, which matters a lot when it comes to a game that demands a certain level of precision sometimes. It really helped to lower the skill floor of the game and provide an easier entry into difficult stages (you have no idea how many times I reset on C. Gross) In general, the things that energy glitch bring to the table get pretty much blown out of the water by modern day QoL features like leaderships. While yes, unlimited attempts at challenge stages is nice, if you need more than 3 leaderships to clear a stage it probably means you should be looking somewhere else like your cat levels or lineup. At the same time, its easier to farm catfruit, with things like heavenly tower and gauntlets providing alternative sources with slightly more bulk, and yes, leaderships help too (also, originally you needed 10 seeds to evolve into a fruit, which has now been changed to 5). Let's not talk about behemoth stones and stages that only show up for like 2 hours at a time though. That stuff's still in the domain of glitches, with the energy glitch's brother: time travel.
i have more than 500 leaderships now😂, i used to turn off internet connection when logging in the game, spent all my energy and reconnect internet, boom full energy again. those were the good times🤫
Same I used to be against it but then I kept getting dupe and crappy Ubers so now it’s an important part of my gameplay. If you don’t seed track you are missing out and wasting money/cat food.
Tbh I don't like energy being present in battle cats. The game has so much content and yet, it includes an energy mechanic which is usually just fluff for games that have low content so people don't rush through it in a short period of time. This is especially a problem in early EoC, where you have a low energy pool and nothing like the time machine treasure. The energy glitch makes the game playable for me and I really wish it just wasn't in the game. I understand that without it, the game would need to be completely rebalanced and while I do enjoy getting 50 cat tickets per hour long SMH event, I would much rather not have the need for an energy glitch in the first place.
everyone here mentioning saving up hundreds of leadership while I always blow through every leadership and catfood I get when I get the chance because I want to play the game
Me personally i do infact use the energy glitch but i really dont think i would ever use something such as seed tracking because even when it is not what i want most of the time, the rushnof excitement after getting a crazy uber is unmatched
i admit i use seed tracking but i have 2 good reasons for it 1.- the awful experience i had with brawl stars when the game had a completely luck based progress system 2.- i got the free platinum ticket and i wanted to get a good unit with it and turns out i'm 2 rolls and the platinum ticket away to get kasli the bane (LET'S FREAKING GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!)
@@Earzentail wait for royal epic or uber fests, mostly epic fest since it has better exclusive units, also each time you roll on the seed to get close to an uber, write what you got so you don't mess it up like i almost did when getting kasl

I'm pretty sure that I did use the energy glitch at one point this is back when I didn't have internet because somehow get a tiny connection I waited few hours for turning on the Wi-Fi and it worked the help me clear extra levels or 2 of aku realms
I triggered the glitch into another way, I think: 1. Turn off WIFI with a slightly/half-filled energy bar, take energy ad if possible 2. Play the game in offline mode 3. Minutes/hours should have passed while you play, then return it back online. 4. Energy refills up. Idk if this works similarly with the steps mentioned but tell me in the comments
Don’t get how people have the time to energy glitch and play all day. I clear all events without leaderships regularly, and if I need to farm, I just use the leaderships I’ve saved up from not using them regularly. I’ll probably not even use all of them, because I don’t need to for the most part. I’ve seen people rush content, using up all their leaderships just to finish everything quickly, and then complain about how “content is so dry” and “the game doesn’t give me enough energy to farm so I MUST energy glitch.” It is so rewarding to just… play at a casual pace. There’s not much reason to rush this game, it’s not going anywhere. You’re not missing out on content updates, and most events always get rerunned. For a mobile game about cats, there’s surprisingly a lot that you can do, and it will always be there one way or another once you get to it. One other thing but this is more on players rather than the glitch itself. I don’t like how some energy glitches brag about their progression, (mostly their catseyes and catfood thru gamatoto glitch) to the general playerbase where most of these people play the game without using exploits. This kind of bragging applies to people who use other exploits as well, ESPECIALLY seed tracking. If you’re going to exploit the game, please keep it to yourself.
I have never needed to use the energy glitch because I have so much leaderships. Edit: Oh I posted this comment before the leadership part :( but nice music choice
Yo, what cat should I true evolve first? Should I true evolve sifu or necromancer? (Sifu is wushu who evolves into Shigong and necromancer is evolved shaman which evolves into necrodancer)
I hear more about people quitting because of infinite energy more than I hear of quitting due to seed tracking. I think this is because there is so much more you can do with the infinite energy glitch. People can set up macros to have Gamatoto go on expeditions and come back immediately using infini energy glitch, allowing for the farming of large amounts of catfood. If they let it run overnight, it’s a lot of catfood, I’m not sure how much exactly but it was 1000+ catfood per hour with the best macros. So this means infinite Gacha rolls, infinite exp, infinite catfood, infinite +levels, cateyes…etc All you needed was time. I guess it also kinda removes the whole point of the Energy system that Ponos implemented to stop people from getting burnt out. The energy cap is too small. Doing two exp colosseum stages and being done for the day is not right. Anyways, Seed-tracking doesn’t allow for infinite rolls. You just know what you are going to get and it allows players to plan their rolls. They still have to play the game and grind for resources.
I don't seed track but I will use the energy glitch. I've recently had to start a new account because I made the game far too easy by collecting too much cat food, and even more so by getting WAY too many cateyes early on. I'm still going to use the energy glitch because I feel like it makes the game more fun for me, but I'm going to have to practice self control and only use it only for energy. The randomness of what units I'm going to get on a draw is like half the fun for me. So that's why I've never used seed tracking.
Would you push the button? 1. Infinite Energy BUT Rich Cats are removed from the game 2. More than 99,999,999 exp BUT Uber Rates drop to 3%(Legend rares to 0.15% and Fest Ubers are 7%) 3. Uber rates are raised to 7.5%(Legend rares to 0.5% and Fest Ubers to 13%) BUT the max level for ALL cats is 50 or less, no matter what 4. All cats have a max level of 50(no + levels) no more no less(and yes this press in itself is both a positive and a negative)
Probably not 1. I gained 99+ leadership very quickly, so it feels like infinite energy 2. Don’t get me wrong, 99,999,999 seems like a lot but you’d burn through that upgrading just 7 or 8 Ubers 3. Tempting, but I feel the balance is good now and that drop rate would hurt my enjoyment of playing the game 4. Nah I like the positives of + levels
I don’t know if it has any interest lore/information but if there is could you make a video on why PONOS limits the amount of videos you can watch a day for cat food?
From ponos point of view though they are losing revenue from players who would have spent real money on extra catfood to buy more energy. With infinite energy, no one really needs to spend any money, so they have no revenue. I dont agree with the energy glitch being abused as from my point of view as a relatively new player of about 3 months, the game is not a pay to win game and the company does deserve some credit for that. I haven't spent a single penny on the game and i can more or less play nonstop due to all the leaderships that i get, havent got to cats of the cosmos 2 and 72 crowns on stories of legend in a few months with 8 ubers and a legend. It really is very fair with regards to money and if they are not receiving any income from the game then how can they continue to run it? I think morally its stabbing them in the back by abusing the game
Fucking hate the recovery feature. I have no idea why, but for some strange reason, battle cats sometimes fails to read my device time, making it 2-3 hours later than it is. Then recovery kicks in and i can't play events for the next 12 hours. Happens pretty often and can get in the way of farming events. Very frusturating
Thats the standard glitch that works on basicly every game not developed enough. Describing everything you can play with infinite energy isnt any different than what you can play normaly
basically when the effect of the combo is duplicated by a lot while only using that one combo (eg: sister act increases units attack by 10% gets duplicated to increase units attack by like 300% or more). it gives an unfair advantage in dojo

Currently being held back because I'm waiting to roll my rare tickets and first 750 catfood roll on a better banner. Very excited to try out the mid and lategame.
How do you do the glitch

Interesting material, me personally having around 450 leaderships I remember using up energy to the point when I have just enough to play the last level of a stage so I can be as efficient as possible.
I miss these days. My maxed out facing danger isn't happy with me still 🤣
and it still shapes it! Man, being an android user with admin powers is great!
P. S thanks for reading all off this, fore some reason really wanted say, something like that, yet had no reason for this, if ( for whatever reason) you want to have a chat about BC, you can always find me on reddit u/miner3647.

i just wish the energy system was a lot better, its such a pain grinding for treasures in the early game chapters due to every stage increasing in energy cost and having such a small amount of energy to use to begin with
They should just remove it at this point. Most mid-late game players have more leadership than they know what to do with, and the stages they don’t want us to farm endlessly have clear limits already anyway. @@lancelover789 delaying that doesn't increase play time. if anything it'll just ward people off
It's kind of beneficial to Ponos because if people had infinite energy they'd be able to finish the game rather quickly whereas limiting the stages will make it take longer to complete the game so people won't run out so quickly. This is just what I've theorized, it could be completely different.

Anybody else think that energy is just a feature that harms the fun of battle cats?
how tho?
@@six2nine-wm4lkit limits the amount you can play the game in a period of time
Whilst a faster energy recharge rate would help the players a lot, infinite energy essentially means that progression happens far too quickly, and stage losses are not punishing.
I love exploiting energy with noroot firewall
Gross)
In general, the things that energy glitch bring to the table get pretty much blown out of the water by modern day QoL features like leaderships.
Man, I miss the old Facing Danger, I wasn't able to get the nost out of it due to me being in early game back then

same it just makes it so much better
Same I used to be against it but then I kept getting dupe and crappy Ubers so now it’s an important part of my gameplay. If you don’t seed track you are missing out and wasting money/cat food.
I mean, more NP doesn’t hurt-

energy glitch was useful at this point, cuz made Ponos bring one of best features that was missing for so long. Only to stop energy glitch.

I'm pretty sure that I did use the energy glitch at one point this is back when I didn't have internet because somehow get a tiny connection I waited few hours for turning on the Wi-Fi and it worked the help me clear extra levels or 2 of aku realms
I triggered the glitch into another way, I think:
1. Turn off WIFI with a slightly/half-filled energy bar, take energy ad if possible
2. Play the game in offline mode
3. Minutes/hours should have passed while you play, then return it back online.
4. Energy refills up.
Idk if this works similarly with the steps mentioned but tell me in the comments
This type of glitch is present in various other mobile games
Didn’t facing danger use to have 100% chance for a singular ticket, and when it was made a one-time clear they buffed its drops?
I've been following this game since even before EN got 2.0 but I forgor when Facing Danger released. I think it was during the 4.X era though.

Is it doable with the comeback rewards timer?
Is it weird that I’m about to beat chapter 3 moon and played like 2 years ago quit then came back
I don’t know or knew about this exploit???
Would you push the button?
1. Infinite Energy BUT Rich Cats are removed from the game
2. More than 99,999,999 exp BUT Uber Rates drop to 3%(Legend rares to 0.15% and Fest Ubers are 7%)
3. Uber rates are raised to 7.5%(Legend rares to 0.5% and Fest Ubers to 13%) BUT the max level for ALL cats is 50 or less, no matter what
4. All cats have a max level of 50(no + levels) no more no less(and yes this press in itself is both a positive and a negative)
Probably not
1. I gained 99+ leadership very quickly, so it feels like infinite energy
2. Don’t get me wrong, 99,999,999 seems like a lot but you’d burn through that upgrading just 7 or 8 Ubers
3. Tempting, but I feel the balance is good now and that drop rate would hurt my enjoyment of playing the game
4. Nah I like the positives of + levels
