i actually intend on using this wheel for truck and driving sims like beamng, ATS, and ETS because it just seems a hell of a lot more comfortable than my current wheel, this has been a great review
Thanks for the Review! With the most expensive version that includes the button plate, do the buttons work without a Fanatec wheelbase, are they able to plug straight into PC via USB? If so, is there any additional software required for iRacing to see the buttons, (SimHub, Fanatec software)?
This wheel would be suitable for any car made before sequential transmission has been invented. Old cars, lorries, a time period before buttons on wheels became a thing.
yet NASCAR still run wheel like this with "sequential transmission" as some driver at speedways like to have larger wheel helps then not to overcorrect to much when going flat out
I'm waiting on 3DRap to bring out its adaptor for the Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel they are making and I'm tempted to grab this wheel to go along with it just to have an offical NASCAR rim on my rig for speedway racing as the bigger size makes being bunched up in a pack so much nicer to drive.
What about rally? I know that they dont need big wheels with the new generation but it is still fun just like with drifting, I think that was a missed point in this review and in my opinion I would have bought the wheel primarily for rally and drifting and the occasional session coasting session, great review nonetheless.
I was hoping for a review of how easily you can reach/use the buttons on Fanatec's universal V2 hub since the wheel spokes bring the wheel closer to the driver than most other wheels.
Great review that highlighted some value in this wheel that wasn't obvious. What software and tracks do you like to use to just go for a drive through the countryside or through the city? Thanks!
No, G29 is older wheel, G923 is the latest Logitech wheel (honestly though, they are similar performance-wise minus the G923's "TrueForce" feature, which is only used on a handful of games). I haven't tried out either myself so I can't say how each compares, but both seem to be good entry level wheels. I'm planning to pick one of them up myself in a few months once I can afford it and have the space.
Next, please review a Clubsport F1 Esport V2 wheel. I think that wheel serve as the middle ground between the more expensive Clubsport F1 wheel and the McLaren wheel.
I'm a man. I like to drive fast car. I like to drive fast. NASCAR go fast. I love NASCAR. I love this wheel. This wheel make man go fast. Worth the money. Seriously though, sooner or later you forget about the cost and you just enjoy the wheel. It's great.
A well made review as always. It was not said that this wheel's size was the same as the ones used in NASCAR. It probably is. I doubt Fanatec would make that error.
There is no standard size of wheel for NASCAR cars it comes down to driver preference but at speedways they tend to use wheels of bigger size so the car handles better when in a pack at full speed but at short tracks and road courses they tend to run smaller wheels for shaper steering input.
although im fanatec user this wheel is just a standat 350mm deep dish wheel and totaly overpriced .... you can get similar wheels at around 50 € or even less without the nascar trademark but who cares^^
This wheel is built to a higher standard than the cheap wheels but as its not being used in a real car it dont matter all that much so if you dont mind the lower build quality of the cheaper wheel then it will do the same thing in all reality.
Not really, the MPI sim rim is double the price of this rim and the same size. A real MPI rim is $300+. I was surprised to see the Fanatec come in price wise the way it did.
the puck is ribbed for her pleasure

What game and maps are used for the ending part of the video

ATS and ETS2
Came here to say this!
What does this mean?
@@rolux4853 American truck simulator and Euro truck simulator 2.
Is this rim compatible stock with Moza quick releases, or do you need to purchase something else to make it compatible?
Did you drove the Targa Florio at the end there in your Miura?

What is the drifting game?
Just got this wheel and I love it!’

Moza quick release in a Fanatec Base? How?

The first two minutes of this episode were unnecessary. I hate introductions.
