    If I'm doing a DIY project, I can tell you with confidence that I do not need to 'fake imperfections' - they just happen.

  • @viclotorto9488
    @viclotorto9488 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    I used to work doing this and to patch the corners and sides that crack or break you can use a pair of panty hose and sift the cement to get the fine dust so it sticks and dries without cracking . . You can touch up the messed up parts and make it perfect so no imperfections ruin the looks . Sometimes it cracks a tiny bit but that usually means you used to much water to mix the cement dust with . Sometimes though it needs 2 coats of cement to touch up perfectly

    I had 2 koi ponds one that went from a waterfall down my driveway to the pond and one in the back yard off my patio. That I used to breed them. Made some nice money that way. But now I’m getting rid of the one in the back and putting in a outdoor kitchen. I watch country living and fixed my driveway with a dry pour. Now I’m going to extend my patio for my outdoor kitchen. I wanted to do a stamp but hadn’t seen it until your channel popped up. Thanks for the videos. ITS ON NOW!!!!!!!!!😊😊

    people that work with this are shaking their head in horror..
    also the producers..
    this is a problem when it comes to co2, this could have lasted for hundreds of years.
    like german bunkers or roman concrete..
    but now it will last for days..
    this is a waste that is destroying our world fast, concrete is one of the bigger co2 problems we have to adress
    and this is deffently not helping
    we are also low on gravel, will you make more of that ?
    monkey see monkey do..
    its amazing how many people that does not read instructions
    to get the psi the product contain you need to mix for a exact time, and not wierd stuff like this
    and if you look deeper you will also find testing done when not mixed correct.
    and that tells you to not do this, it´s pretty simpel..

    • @viclotorto9488

      @@WallstreetMuscle I had a pour gone wrong where someone stamped the front of the steps wrong so the lines of the bricks didn’t line up to look legit like it was a row of bricks … we had to etch the front of every step and put a new concrete layer on top of the brick lines and just used a saw to cut lines to match correct . After doing a few of these jobs you will learn how to patch concrete correctly so it cures and doesn’t crack & looks amazing 🤩 like it poured and stamped perfectly. When mixing the “finishing concrete “ you have to get the precise amount of water and get it mixed right . In small amounts or it dries and hardens too fast . A cool whip style container works best but it has to have a flat bottom so your trowel can mix stir/scrape against the bottom like bondo . I worked with a concrete finisher for a long time , all we did was finish other peoples mistakes and half ass work . Most of the time it was Mexican laborers who didn’t use enough release for the stamp and shotty work around the edges . Fun Times to say the least ☀️ 🚗

    • @viclotorto9488
      @viclotorto9488 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@WallstreetMuscle and when making finishing concrete it’s like a paste , the cement must be dry sifted through panty hose and only the fine dust can be used to make the paste …. And if it’s colored cement make sure you get the right color … then seal it so it always looks shiny and wet 👍 red bricks are nice 👍 just add colored cement. And also NOTE : to make the patch dry slower so it doesn’t crack , wet the corner of a sponge or cut off a small piece and wet it a tiny amount and brush the cement patch smooth and allow it just a little extra moisture so it cures perfectly , almost forgot that’s the 2nd most important part of the patch job so it cures slow and hard without cracking. If it cracks a tiny amount , rinse and repeat a second time
