It is still very good and fun. Some usefull armor and a decent gun.
I adore this tank. It is just so fun to play with. That moment when you are permatracking some poor soul while angled and bouncing his return shots... :D
I've stopped playing anything above tier 7 because it's just not enjoyable anymore, so I've been focusing on toers 6 and 7. Decided on this over the D version and I absolutely love this tank. I'm an 1880 WN8 player (last 1000 battles) and have 2 marked a number of tier 6 through 8s, so not a unicum but this tank just works for me. Got my first mark at 40 battles, currently at 55 battles and I'm ranked #23 on NA server. Yes the 135 alpha isn't great, but strong dpm and IMO very good gun handling make up for that. Plus you can play hull down easily against tier 7 and below with the massive gun mantlet...effective armor a bit over 200mm in spots.

Horrors, that Skill would play with the same tank! I can't count how many times, when Skill was marking a tank, I watched him play the same one for four or five hours. It doesn't matter, you just play that thing and I'll watch.

I really love the 3001D for its speed, but its bloom, like the Cromwell, is humongous. What makes this tank good is that it doesn't have as much bloom so you can actually snapshoot with it. With the 3001D and Cromwell, you really got to stop and aim... but boy, can you race around the map, I love that.
First tank I got a 2nd mark on - day before yesterday. I love this tank.
Bret panther, pudel and vk 3002m are all quite similar aside from very minor hull armor differences, (best is the pudel with 85 front and 50 side vs bret panther 80 /40 and vk 3002 with 85 / 40) and some differences in module hitpoints.
Great video, as always. Idea for an update of the index page: tech tree is a nice addition, premium tanks also in there. Would be nice if we can find collectors' tanks somewhere grouped together as well, per country perhaps, just like the tech tree.
I use to expose the upper front plate well angled what hopefully makes the opponent fire. After that I have free shot without risk

The pudel is basically the same but has 10mm more side armor if I’m right
VK 30.02 M has better turret armor.

VK, Pudel and Bret. Panther are very silmilar, but not copy-paste. I'm working on 2nd MOE on my Pudel and Panther/M10 right now... very current topic to me. Love those tanks.
I love this Tank. Only tank I have 3 marked and didn't eve3n realize I did it
The only real difference between the three tanks is in the armour values:
VK M - 85/40/40
BertPanther - 80/40/40
Pudel - 85/50/40
And the pudel hull is identical to the tier VII Panther (even though really, these are all Panthers, just not named as such as a tier lower). Otherwise, they are all identical, with the same guns, gun handling, rate of fire, view range, engines (though there are minor differences in power-to-weight), radio, etc.
I honestly prefer these lower tier tanks ever the tier VII Panther, because while that is pretty much limited to a second line sniper role with no real ability to be agressive other than against the lower tiers, the VK M and friends are more flexible, mostly thanks to being lower tier.

When i played with this tank it felt quite good, the gun has standard "german engineering" trademark, it has some armor, speed and fine view range for its tier.
The only downside of this tank comes on tier7 lol (the worst tier7 tank in my opinion), I also had few times chance to ramm someone to death with this VK, as with every other tank from the E50M line.
I recently started grinding the german medium lines and this+ the vk 30.02 d are so far my favourites. the panther and indien just don't work as well for me. I'll have to see if the leo and e50 are worth the grind
Super fun tank, and very playable. Moving from the VK to the Panther is super disappointing.

The VK30.02M IMO is the ACTUAL historical Panther tank, correct me if I'm wrong please
You are right. It is a design for a 30t medium tank made by the MAN company (obviously german 30t project means 45t product). It went into series production as "Panther".
@@adolfusknall3341 yeah, just edited my post, saw that I forgot to mention "the actual Panther tank"... either way, this should be the historical configuration for the Panther, as opposed to what we have at tier 7

This tank was surprisingly good. Nothing crazy, not good all around. Grinding through this tank gave me my highest win rate for a long time. It surprised me, because it did not feel that impressive.

Index page is very useful. I would like to see one more slot for equipment set up if possible. one with best setup for bond equipment. like for example to have the most op version on tank which you feel people with bond equipment can use it. thanks and i am addicted to you channel and use your content to help make my life alot easier. I like the VK 3001 Daier better. It was my first MT used like LT. It has different playstyle than the VK3001 M imho.

Pudel and Brt. Panther are cca 5% bigger then VK. It is easiest to hit them and have a little bit worse armor angles. So it is easier to penetrate them.
This thing with guns is really strange. I noticed this with 57 mm gun on t 34, not this accurate as mounted on KV 1! Don't believe me? Check it and you will see it! GG Skill :)

i love this tank more than cromwell B and T-34-85M.
even i have 3rd MoE in all three of them.
it's sad that none of the premium version of this tank is good like crom B and normal cromwell or T-34-85M and normal t-34-85.
for me the only another panther as good as vk3002M is the E50M.
premium versions and another tier panther tanks are worse.
as a germany tech tree only user, i find the german meds are the most fun with turbo, rotating mechanism & vents/imp aiming, depending on gun type, try run n gun for maximum fun and peoples interest will grow too I bet, with exciting gameplay for the low tier games. my not so humble opinion

Am I blind or does skill not have 3 marks on this vehicle 😱
He does have 3 marks, just hard to see on the small pee pee. I read your comment after watching the 1st match and noticed his MOE indicator was only at 92% ish and thought you might be right. However after the 3rd match he brought it over 95% and in battle results he never received 3rd mark meaning he already had it. A lot of times if you don't play a tank for a while your MOE progress will drop 5-10%.
