What a lovely place to visit, the gardens were especially beautiful. All of the food looked delicious but the biggest treat had to be that sunset over Mt Fuji. Thank you for the upload Hana, great video.
Yes! The gardens were absolutely amazing! I would showcase every single temple and shrine if I could, there’s sooooo many in Kamakura! It’s such a great place to visit with either your family, your friends, or significant other. There’s something to do for everyone. ☺️ That Mt Fuji view was the cherry on top! A very big cherry!!! Haha I was so in awe! I’ll never get tired of seeing Mt Fuji!
Kamakura is awesome! Some people say it’s overrated though? I don’t get it haha Glad you were able to take some amazing footage and created some really cool memories! ❤️
Joyous Christmas to you! Happy to see a new video. Many, many years ago, my father served in the US Army, stationed with the 500th Military Intelligence Brigade at Camp Zama. I have an old photo of him standing with the the Great Buddha of Kamakura. I recognized it immediately. Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas, Becker! Thank you for always watching and for always saying such kind words! ☺️ oh no way?? That is AMAZING! You should take the same exact photo in the future!
Hi Hana, thank you so much for such a great video. Loved the details, feel, and authenticity. I'm getting married in Kamakura, and will send your videos to our guests who are coming from all around the world!
@@whatchuHANAdo our family are planning to visit Japan next month. Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. will go to Kamakura and Enoshima island. very helpful information. Thank you!

Awww no way?? :) Enjoy Kamakura and Enoshima! The next video we will be uploading will be about Enoshima. :) Don't sleep on Hakone either though...Hakone is also a beautiful place to go to! Planning on making a video on it in the future! Hakone is certainly not a day trip type video but a one night or two night stay! :)
Thanks! I’m not a big shrine fan but the first two on your list caught my eye. I think I will take my husband there because he likes and wants to visit shines
Thank you so much! :) oh you’re going to love it! :) actually if you search the places on Google, there will be a ton of sites that pop up explaining the history of Kamakura! Love your videos!! sooo informatives and cool. Can you recomend me where to buy the tickets of the train Dente?? can i buy them in that momento or I have to buy them online? thanks for you ansewer.
That’s so funny! I would have answered either way! Lol mostly walking, bus, and train, but a bike would be good too! We love biking around Yokohama! :)
Oh! Might be a little too early for autumn colors since summer was on a warpath this year and just left a few days ago. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you though!
Hi Hana!!! Thank you so much for your video. We are taking a family trip in a few weeks and my girls are wanting a beach day to escape Tokyo for a bit. My wife and I are more into the historical sites you pointed out but I know they are going to want to relax beachside. Can you recommend a spot to do so please?
Hello, Rudy! Thank you so much for watching! :) oh cool! I’m excited for you and your family! If you’re looking to relax in Kamakura, Zaimokuza and Yuigahama Beach are popular swimming beaches! :) Shichirigahama Beach that I mentioned in the video is great for views. :) If in Enoshima, Kugenuma Beach and Chigasaki Beach! If you’re looking to go further out, you can look into going to Morito and Zushi Beach(south of Yokohama)…and Shirahama Beach and Atami(Izu Peninsula)! :) Hope this helps! :)
12:06 and then ran by this place on my way from Enoshima to Kamakura yesterday .. it was only 8:20, the real HS students poured out of the train, and the first early groups of tourists and 'influencers' started popping up.
Would have made for awesome photos with real HS students but wouldn’t want to bother them! Haha yea…it’s quite a popular spot, ey? I remember when we were filming, it was hard to find a good spot to show what the place looked like without being blocked by everyone. 😅
Really informative video! Would you say all of these locations can be visited in the same day? Would you recommend walking around to get to the areas or is the bus/train a must?
Thank you so much for watching the video! :) we shot the video all on the same day so you can definitely go to all of them. :) some locations are close to each and you can walk from one to the other, but some will be easier to get to by train/bus. :)
What time in the Fall did you record the scenes? I've been to Japan in October/November and didn't see that much color on the trees, I was kind of disappointed at the time.
Hello! We shot that video November 23, 2023. :) Even late November not that much color on the trees yet. The weather in Japan has been quite weird lately!
