During Japan's Golden Week period, in Kamakura, there are occasions where transferring from the Yokosuka Line to the Enoden Line may take up to an hour. This year, it's recommended to walk to areas like Hase and the Daibutsu, which would take around 25 to 30 minutes from Kamakura Station, where route guidance is provided. At Enoshima, to alleviate congestion in front of the escalators, advance tickets are sold at Katase Enoshima Station and around Benten Bridge. Additionally, gates that can be passed through with barcode-enabled online tickets have been installed. At each Enoden station, you can pay for your ride using touchless credit card payments, and using the all-day pass type of online ticket is also convenient.
Every time the notification comes up for one of your videos I get so happy. Thank you again. It's so nice. Looks incredible there. Definitely need to put it on my list. Hope all is well.
love your videos. like that you go to places no-one else really talks about and you'll give info on how to get there or how to buy a ticket. been binge watching your videos to prepare for my Japan trip in May. Can't wait to see what's next
Awwww thank you so much for your encouraging words and for watching our videos! ❤️ these places aren’t exactly underrated but lesser known compared to the trifecta-Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto! Don’t get me wrong, I love the trifecta, but there’s so much to see in Japan! ☺️ OH WOW! So excited for you to come to Japan! Do you have an idea where you want to go??
So excited to see a new video from you! We went to Enoshima Island last year and had THE BEST whitebait curry pan at a little stand under the sea candle. Highly reccomend.
Whitebait curry pan sounds AMAZING! Not sure if I saw the little stand under the sea candle but curry pan with some really nice views sound really good to me! ❤️ thank you so much for always watching out for new videos! 🙏🏼
Hi Hana, what a beautiful little island that has so much to do there. And, as always, the food scene looks sooo good - very tasty! I for one do enjoy your day trip videos so would be more than happy to see you make more. Thank you for the video _(and to your cameraman for capturing it all)._
Hi, Quaker! ☺️ it is really a beautiful little island! I love the vibe of the whole island…so much history too! I absolutely loved the food! If I could have ordered 2 of everything, that’s what I would have done! Haha thank you so much for answering my question too! We will keep making these day trip videos! I enjoy them so much because I too learn so much and really enjoy showing you how beautiful Japan is! ❤️ I will tell him thank you from you haha though I know he’s always reading the comments. 🤣
Right??? The overall vibe is awesome! They’ve got hole in the wall restaurants but they also have higher end cafes haha there’s something for everyone! :)
Hey Hana, I recently commented on your Yokohama and Kamakura videos thanking you for these day trip suggestions and I was happy to include those in my itinerary. But now, I ran into this video and I don't have enough time in Tokyo to include this 😭😭 I don't know, maybe I will try to squeeze it in...Fantastic suggestion again and thanks again 🙂
Hi Sea Salt Lemon! Thank you so much for watching all the day trips from Tokyo videos! 🙏🏼 I appreciate you! Hmmm…if you go to Kamakura, you can definitely have a sneak peak of Enoshima so maybe you can squeeze it in! But if you can’t, Enoshima will be waiting for you! ❤️
I did a different 'magical' thing with Enoshima today: First train out of Tokyo, arrived in Fujisawa 6:08 and from there I ran (about 5K) and then hiked up and down the same streets / places. But it was incredibly quiet, peaceful, just a few people, nothing open yet. Friendly stray cats ...
Subscribed! This is the 2nd video of yours I've watched and I LOVE how you include the history of different places you visit. I don't know of channels that do that, and I've watched plenty of travel channels.
Hahaha twin!! You have WAY better shots of Fuji from all over the areas of Fuji haha let’s go to Enooshina together when the weather is not a hot mess! Hahaha
Hi Hana! Thank you for your great and straight to the point video! Could you please share the name of the restaurant you went to which served the Shirasu? I’m planning a visit to Enoshima in June 😊
Is there any hotel or airbnb here where I could stay because I want to explore kamakura as well? Or is it best to go back to tokyo? Thank you so much for your videos!!
Hello! Thank you so much for watching! :) There are hotels both on Enoshima Island and in Kamakura! :) You can book in any of those two places to see both areas!
hey Hana love your video! Would you suggest to make both Enoshima & Kamakura as a 2 day trips instead of putting both it 1 day? There's too many things to explore both places in a day!
Thank you so much for watching, Sonia! I’m glad you loved our video! :) Definitely make it a 2 day trip so you’re not too rushed to see all the places you want to go to. :) but if you’re pressed for time, do it all in one day and choose which places you want to go to exactly! :)
Hello Meghan! :) yes, I believe November is a great month to visit Japan in general. :) weather will be much more pleasant compared to very hot July and very cold January! :)
Hello! It will depend on how many places you want to see in both areas and how fast you go through those places. :) if you breeze through the different spots, then I think it’s possible, but if you don’t want to feel rushed, one area per day is best.

Hi Max! Would we be able to do this along with visiting Kamakura or would that be too much? If so, which of the two would you recommend?

@@whatchuHANAdo yeah, but I missed out on all the great food! Need to go back :D
Nice Hannah. I went there a few months ago. The caves by candle was really cool. 🤙🏽😁
Enoshima is pretty great, isn’t it? ☺️ I really enjoyed the Iwaya Caves too! But just really loved the overall vibe of the island.
I love the information about every spots. They make me appreciate the place even more. Keep it up! New sub here.

@whatchuHANAdo Yes I would love that 💕
Matchaaaaaa beannnnn!!!
DELICIOUUUUUS!
Very well done Hana, arigato. Just one thing missing is the Enoshima Spa which is really a great experience...
Oh man! Did I super miss out! I should go! I’ve heard many great things! :) thank you so much!
The best way to get to Enoshima is to reach at Ofuna stationa and take a 15 min hanging monorail ride on the Shonan Monorail and get down at Enoshima
That’s another great way to get to Enoshima! A little bit of a longer walk but beautiful ride as well! :)
Does the monorail go to the island?
@@ShadowRap-y5l no, it does not :) none of the trains do. You'll have to walk to the island or take a bus or drive a car :)
Hi Hana! Thank you for your great and straight to the point video! Could you please share the name of the restaurant you went to which served the Shirasu? I’m planning a visit to Enoshima in June 😊

Do they have the lights up during summer too…???
Unfortunately not, but, there is a day or days(?) I think they have a fireworks festival for summer! :)

Hana, is November a good time to visit Kamakura? I've only been to Japan in January and July...
Hello Meghan! :) yes, I believe November is a great month to visit Japan in general. :) weather will be much more pleasant compared to very hot July and very cold January! :)
Do you think it’s possible to do Kamakura and Enoshima in 1 day if you stay the night in Kamakura?

Wonderful video. I want to visit Enoshima! Reminds me of the various islands around Jeju Island in Korea. Do you use your Instagram?
Oh wow!! I’ve never been to Jeju! But now I really want to go! :)
