ADOPT NEO!!

Meet Neo. Neo was pulled from a small rural shelter in GA where black dogs tend to often fall victim to “black dog syndrome”, a phenomenon in which black dogs are passed over for adoption in favor of lighter-colored ones. It is VERY real. Luckily, we have a soft spot for black dogs and Neo is absolutely adorable. At just about 1 year old and 40lb Neo is a fantastic size temperament. Very respectful and just a lover. We believe he is a boxer mix despite some of his shelter paperwork saying pitbull mix. He is fostered in a home that consists of 2 middle school age children, 3 other dogs and 2 cats and is doing amazing. On leash Neo is a dream. He doesn’t pull and does check ins often. It is hard to capture in the photos and videos, but Neo has the most adorable underbite. Neo is still working on house and crate training. Neo is looking for a home to call his own with people or a person who is committed to loving him for the rest of his life so he never has to worry about finding himself unwanted and in a shelter again. Someone is going to be very lucky to add this boy to their life.
Neo’s adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations (rabies, 2 parvo/distemper boosters, and Bordetella), negative heartworm test, negative fecal, health certificate, registered microchip, and transport costs. Neo is currently located in Georgia and is available for transport to an adopter through our transport program.
As a Project Freedom Ride direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on a video call (FB Messenger Call, Whats App, or Google Duo). The adoption application and fee would be finalized & paid in full prior to transport.
