A person's true character can only be realized in an environment where they have every opportunity to become their best self. For the same reason that no one knows the depravity within their own heart until they have been pushed to their limits, no one knows the potential good that can come from a person if they have been loved to their limits.

Great talk. So many people imprisoned for being poor. They need to be helped, not imprisoned so someone else can become super rich by running a bunch of prisons. How many people currently in US's prisons would not have been there if they had the chance to grow up with at least the basics of access to a safe home, good food and a good school.
How about the creativity, ingenuity and innovation languishing from black women and girls who are neglected, ignored and scapegoated by their own community.

Inside prison there should be a way to correct the mistake you made in past. Not everyone is stuck in past

Never mind the victims of these criminals....
Where there is demand someone will supply...
This is what happens when you arrest people unfairly. You lose their potential talent and hinder the development of society.
Truly the "Conservative" agenda. conserve in this case meaning holding humanity back.
agreed
Legalize drugs and these problems go away.
No more evictions from primary residences!!
If these people were not in US prison they would have continued selling drugs thanks us prison for bringing the talent out from such people.
