I just got mine today. After looking at it closely, I'm pretty sure the lack of the blue tint to the armour is deliberate: I don't know why, maybe Draigo's armour is supposed to be an earlier version. I love the figure, it's definitely a worthy Chapter Master for the Grey Knights! Even if he's in absentia.
More then likely its budget cost for joytoy may have the license but gw gives the budget goes across the whole wave so i can respectably under stand some missing paints since the piece of each is split between gw and jt
Where does the shield cable conects? I just got mine and I dont know. He is indeed to heavy to keep the flag and the other stuff. My cape also unglued itself the moment I took it of the box
Hi @rossato2109, the shield connects into a socket at the top of the right arm, to the left of the two cables that are already plugged in. You may want to rotate the arm and straighten it out, because the elbow armour can block access to (and view of) the socket for the shield cable. The shield cable is fairly hard to connect, because the plug is the same soft material as the cable, but if you are patient you can get it to fit in there.
Super disappointed with this model. The legs/feet are weird to a point where he can only stand sraight, can't do any action pose. Nothing special about him that makes him stand out from the other terminator Grey Knights. At the very least give him his Titansword. Though, if you are a Grey Knight fan he is still a must have.
bro not a single word that he got no shading at all at all the places where the letters are, like shoulders,shield, legs like all the other grey knight figures ? did joytoy pay you for this review or dies overpriced flymia toys want you to say only good things ? very disapointing, specialy from you who always got an eye on shading. this caldor looks like he just skipped the shading section in the production plus the missing blue - that thing is the worst grey knight so far -he should have been the best!
He does have shading on the golden segments, but it does seem to be a bit lighter than on the previous Grey Knights, and mostly missing on his left shoulder pad, these things can happen with hand painted/airbrushed figures that are mass produced. I do wonder if this is in someway a stylistic choice on Joytoy's part as he is the "big cheese" of the Grey Knights maybe they wanted his gold to have more of a brilliant shine, and not be as dulled down compared to the others.
This figure is literally a hero figure, not only that but he is adorned with so much that adding shading on every single letter is a stupid choice considering it’s supposed to stand out in gold glory. You also forget that even if it is not on purpose i’d check other reviews before flapping my gums about how there’s a lack of shading that might’ve never been added to its design in the first place. He also mentions the lack of blue near the end of the video despite you again flapping your gums about how he didn’t even mention it.
Honestly, with the way the background shading on my GK terminator went, I'd rather they just left that undone so I can do it myself. Because I had to do all them once over myself since most of the shading had different levels of opacity, some fields were BARELY darker than the grey ceramite.

The bluish hue is definitely there on mine, just not as apparent as with the other terminators.

You should finish the video first before you start running your mouth... He mentioned the lack of shading as one of the negatives.
