As an ex English teacher, I have found that the t.v. becomes a great reading teacher when the captions are turned on. Hearing and seeing the words at the same time promotes great reading skills. It also helps in spelling!
ESL teacher approved! I love subtitles or captions for myself and of course my students use them. It's the best way to get passive and active skills going at the same time.

My skincare and makeup is that one thing I do for myself each day. I put on makeup most every day, even though I may never leave the house for days on end. I get inspiration watching both, to remind me of something I haven't used in awhile or just a makeup look I'd like to do. I really like the shop my stash videos. Everyone has makeup they’ve forgotten about or their first impression wasn’t the best and seeing you use them is a great way to get more use out of products that we already have. I haven’t thought of Benetint in ages. This was great.
Emily should have the BEST algorithm out there, because she is the BEST. I adore her videos, she is consistently my favourite TH-cam creator to watch. She never steers us wrong, and appreciates that for many of us drugstore is much more attainable to purchase and so very often gives us drugstore alternatives, even when the video holds higher end products. I've purchased so many of her suggestions, always as wonderful as Emily has told us 💖🥰

Like when you use sponge vs brushes, or what kind of brushes like very fluffy vs stippling or buffing brushes? When do you buff vs sweep... Oh my Emily your littles get out of school early in Illinois. In much of Canada they go to school right until the end of June. Happy Saturday Emily! I'm 60 years young and have not strayed from Double Wear for 30 years. I still love the way it lays on my mature skin although I do apply it with a sponge. I'm very cool toned and every time I try another foundation that says it's cool is usually yellow and sometimes orange. I stopped wasting my money a long time ago and remain loyal to Double Wear! By the way, I love that you use products you already have. So refreshing!
We are makeup twins! I have used Double Wear since it launched too! Also cool toned, actually my skin is more pink than anything else. Everytime I try a new foundation, it makes me orange and does all the bad things, settles in lines I have never seen, breaks up, gets wonky around the nose…. No thank you! I will just keep wearing DW 😊

I was loving brown eyeshadows for the past few months, but now I’m all about the purples. Just a wash of lavender and a sparkly purple on the lid….chief’s 💋….😂 I have hazel eyes just for info.

There is always a better way to say something, like instead of “why do you always need darkness”, maybe say can you do a eyeshadow look without darkness. I personally think the darkness looks very pretty on you, because you have dark hair and brows, with lighter skin! To me it all works and looks beautiful😉☺️🥰

I always use a darker shade on my outer corner for depth and lifts my hooded eyes. Ignore the negative comments. Your eye looks are always so pretty!
