@@Shadow_Mihai The DS version is just as janky in its own ways. Also I prefer the smoother models, it makes it feel more like a dream. The 64 version doesn't immerse me in the same way.
I noticed that in this video, that in every clip, he is actually playing as the actual characters instead of using the caps to temporarily transform into another character, as the characters’ have their real voices. (Transforming into another character does not change the voice.)

The BLJ exists in the DS version, but it's useless. The reason the BLJ worked in the original game was because the programmers didn't think to add a cap to the amount of negative (backwards) speed. In fact, there was a second version of the original N64 version that had the BLJ patched out - the "Shinsou" version, I believe it's called.
I would pay for a remaster version of this game. I know the original is a classic, but it’s clearly outdated, and inferior to this new version that tweets by adding new levels and characters to play as.
