Πολύ δημιουργικά περνάει η ώρα μου και σήμερα ως Ελληνίδα 😂😂👌🏻
😍
What do you do?
Great video. 11:38 at my house, we call a colander an "escurridor" in Spanish.
Un colador en mi caso🙂
Very good episode. Thank you.
Γεια σας,πολυ ωραίο βίντεο 📹 ,μπράβο σας. Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ
This is awesome!!
Beatles White Album 😍
We’ve made a video and a podcast episode about the Beatles, we love them!
@@EasyGreekVideos Πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να δω αυτό το βίντεο!
Question: the way I would phrase "I hope my plants will grow quickly," would be (and pardon any spelling errors): "Ελπιζω τα φυτα μου να μεγαλοσουνε γρηγορα." Would this also be correct? Or, while it may be correct, is it just not how it's phrased in Greece?
Thank you!
Yes, in fact it's more common to use "μεγαλώνω", I just wanted to keep it simple.
Στην αρχή νόμιζα ότι μιλούσατε πολύ αργά, αλλά δε με πείραξε μετά από λίγο γιατί η λίστα ήταν πολύ δημιουργική! Σαν τον Ντόκτορ Σους.
Μεγάλο κοπλιμέντο!
11:38 also at my house we call both a sieve and colander, a "colador" in spanish. Sometimes we call a sieve a "sedazo".
Donde vivía en Grecia, lo llamábamos "κόσκινο" . Además hay la palabra στραγγιστήρι pero no creo que sea exactamente lo mismo
Μ αρεσει αυτη η πρωτη αυτη εμφανιση του μικρου Σ. 😂😂❤
Little guy debuted himself
Excellent
I will say "μαλάκα" instead of "μαλακά" on purpose, just to make fun LOL
μαλακά means soft
ωδείο
ωστικό κύμα
ωκεανός!
Δεν είναι οικιακά αντικείμενα!! 😅
Silver (color) is different word from silver (metal)?
Μαξιλάρι Yoshi!
Η μουσική είναι πολύ δυνατή.
Αλήθεια; Εμένα μου φαινόταν ΟΚ!
Αλλά δεν έχει μουσική?

What helps one learn Greek is to have a Greek speaker to talk Greek to all the time but if you dont have that then it is extremely difficult. Some say you would have to go to Greece to learn Greek better but when I was there Greeks only talked to me in English because My Greek was not that good. I can speak it but with a limited vocabulary, so that was no help. Either you talk to them in Greek only or non at all (they dont care to help you), plus you have to have a very good memory or you are out of luck. These thing are something language teachers do not tell you.
Like, subscribe. Σας ευχαριστώ, παιδιά!
As a woman, I have a lot of elastics in all sizes for my hair. Trust me, they will be everywhere in the house😂
Good day,. i have kind of a random question so here i go. I am going to Corfu in september on my first ever solo travel at 47. Greece is my absolute favorite country to travel to. I am trying to learn the language and am looking for someone to meet up with for a couple of lessons as i am there. I am kind of a shy person but i know that if i want to learn the language i need to actually start talking. I am still in the beginner stages and would love to move away from that. Do you know of someone who would be willing to meet with me? It doesn't have to be a 'real' teacher at all. I will be staying in Gouvia, Have a lovely rest of your sunday. Juliette from Holland xxx
Have you considered online lessons? Not sure what exactly you're looking for if you need to learn but it doesn't have to be a real teacher. We also provide conversation classes (for beginners as well) where the vibe is more chill and it's not a "real lesson", but it's in groups and you'll need to know at least some basic Greek. You're more than welcome to join if that sounds appealing!
@@EasyGreekVideos wow that is fast haha.. I do not need to learn greek for work or anything. I just love everything Greece and would love to just be able to have small talk conversations (for now) Like i said i am kind of shy and i am not sure if i would have the courage to speak in a group in my own language let alone in one that i am learning. Where would i be able to find this group and what are the costs? Thank you for answering me so quickly.
@@jetjegoesdutch7933 We mention it in the video at 6:02. Right now it's at 18 euros per month + VAT (I don't know what it is for NL) and we offer three classes per week you could join (although now in summer the schedule's going to be a bit different). If you'd like, Marilena also offers private classes.
@@EasyGreekVideos oke thank you for all the information.. I will think about it today. Have a lovely rest of your day.
@@jetjegoesdutch7933 You too!
5:14 - i would freak out if I saw such a thing in the kitchen or anywhere home...
It stays on the ceiling so it just eats some flies and doesn’t bother us
ωτορινολαρυγγολόγο! 😆
Ya sou Dimitri
Γλάστρα στα πορτογαλικά είναι vaso, και βάζο είναι pote, όποτε… 😅
13:27 - in Romanian s similar, hârtie 😍
Greek word!
Does anybody is seriously interested in tandem talking? I'm german native speaker and want to learn greek. I'm. Something like A1 rightnow
i can help you with that , can you give me ig or something related, but atm i dont have a headset for an online call 😅
Colander : cedník in czech 🇨🇿
❤❤❤
7:11 κι ο κουβάς είναι ένας μεγάλος κεσές = and the bucket is a *large* cup, not small cup
Yes. Well spotted, pedantic_fox. :)
Και οι δύο από ανατολή οι λέξεις. Κοβά και κιασέ.
Στο κάππα έπρεπε να δείξεις την καραμπίνα σου 🤪
Φορωντας αυτές to escape loud noises as well ? BTW the word for headphones isn't??? Ω...
Ακουστικά;
@@EasyGreekVideos oh, makes sense "))
@EasyGreekVideos the for earplugs a good sentence I think would be, "I use earplugs to not hear my neighbors quarrels while I read
@@ApollonianShy18 No ω at the beginning in any of those words. :/ I tried to use verbs and adjectives that also start with the corresponding letter (hence ωτορινολαρυγγολόγος, χαχα)
When did milou turn into a real boy?
Στο Πολωνικά γλώσσα "σουρωτήρι" είναι "durszlak" 😅
Και στα Ρώσικα! (Дуршлаг) ωραία
I thought vazo is just vase😂 but makes sense since we also put flowers in that😂...
(LOL reminds me on how in most Romanic languages I know except my own the word for door & gate are both porta (the root s same) ... it's confusing at the start😂 but the context makes the whole difference, as always ;)
Vazo means both vase and jar
Πρώτη φορά που άκουσα "κεσές". Εκεί που ζούσα, τα λέγαμε τάππερ.
Ενδιαφέρον. Τάπερ από γιαούρτι;
