I find you do have to mess with it alot it does stop and it is frustrating, I think she just happened upon a decently made one and perhaps they are not all made to consistent quality standards,I had to adjust the screws, add lubricant and just mess with it too much, I threw it away and just purchased a pair of fringing scissors, that are faster and easier, and once you have tried them once or twice, the scissors are very easy to use.
That link did nOT go to a paper fringer site, but instead, a shady site🤯. So disappointing.

Yes, it needs a cranking handle. Or a motorized crank.
I bought this and it can't cut 1/4 paper. The paper keep jump away as the one that feed the paper to the blade didn't hold it. It work fine only on 3/8 paper. Really not worth buying it :(
Hi. Sometimes the paper which we use is thinner than 1/4 inch and hence it doesnt' cut if properly. Try using the paper made by Lake city crafts company.
hitesh kanwar just try it using paper from lake city co and quilling creation ( USA maker ), you're right, it cut fine. Unfortunately I live in UK and paper here are different :(. But now I know what is the problem. Thank u very much for your reply tough, very helpful :)
dont bother wasting your money and time, these stupid fringers dont work, paper gets caught, paper doesnt move and in short, doesnt fringe anything other than your patience and sanity
