Why for goodness sake would you need a pasta machine to roll the clay (!) . Use a sugar craft or cold porcelain or even pastry roller and roll it for gods sake!!! Also using oil paints can be a bit messy for beginners and doesn't dry well. Seems to me this is unessecarily complicated in order to sell products!!

I find you do have to mess with it alot it does stop and it is frustrating, I think she just happened upon a decently made one and perhaps they are not all made to consistent quality standards,I had to adjust the screws, add lubricant and just mess with it too much, I threw it away and just purchased a pair of fringing scissors, that are faster and easier, and once you have tried them once or twice, the scissors are very easy to use.

I've just discovered quelling and I really enjoyed it. This video really helped me with the combing technique. Could you please suggest where I can get the glue bottle, cause everytime I am quelling something the excess glue dries up and looks ugly. Also the cutter you used for making the sides round what is it called and will it be available in general stationary shops

dont bother wasting your money and time, these stupid fringers dont work, paper gets caught, paper doesnt move and in short, doesnt fringe anything other than your patience and sanity

Wow, that's so cool. I received a very strange long tine/ toothed comb when I bought an old spinning wheel from a junk store some time back. Looks similar to the comb you are using, but has a handle on one side. No one knows what it could be used for. I wonder if its for this purpose. Love your work thanks for sharing.
