Technically that's called a practical effect (anything that's produced physically that's an effect like that is a practical effect, similar to the dinosaurs in the original Jurassic Park which were robots), so it is a special effect, just not CGI. And I think practical effects are more impressive than CG effects, I'm sure a lot of people agree. And just for clarity's sake (so you don't get mad at me, I don't want my fellow ARMYs to think I'm some sort of know-it-all jerk), I don't mean to sound condescending, I just wanted to let you know- my mom was a stage manager so she taught me about all these sorts of things. :)

The 'Save Me' design is quite a famous tattoo design from way back in 2014 -2015. It was famously done by a girl who was suffering from anxiety & depression. To everybody (upside down) the tattoo would show the word 'I'm Fine' but from the bearer point of view, it shows 'Save Me'.

This ties in to their fears from the bangtan sonyeondan timeline. Suga piano/fire since he is reminded of his mother’s piano which was burnt in a fire, the same fire that killed his mother. Taehyung is a phone, the phone he used to reach out to Hoseok when he stabbed his own father. Jimin was water because of an accident that happened in a forest on the rain when he was 8 which left him traumatized. Jin’s was the flower, because it it the same type of flower he held when they ran his girlfriend over. And Hoseok was chocolate because when he was 7 his mother told him to close his eyes and count to ten at a carnival, she abandoned him and only left a candy bar with him, many people think Jungkook was afraid of himself, because he was afraid of hurting others, he was watching all the boys face their fears and he faced his when making his hyungs face theirs. Keep in mind everything is just a theory and the story line is from the albums NOT REAL LIFE!

Fake Love Interpretation

So it starts out with a man closing the curtains on his love relationship. He’s like in a dream alone in a large spacious room looking at a fragile glass container holding the bloom of his love. Then the room explodes inward from both sides onto him. Like his relationship abruptly ends in a devastating collapse fracturing the glass container that held their love together, leaving the relationship in pieces.
Sculpture behind the dancers represents the turbulence and trials of life with the different emotions that transcends throughout. Like embracing life, anger or resistance, and acceptance. The dancers cascading from right to left represent the blind faith it takes to travel through life. The harnesses represent being tied to someone or something.
In the room with the toys and candy bars might represent his naive, childlike vulnerable (insecurities) self that he feels in this fragile love relationship. When he’s in the dank concrete room showed his loneliness he felt even in the relationship.
When he’s looking at the fractured glass container examining it trying to find clues to what went wrong and just seeing the pieces left and the absence of the bloom, the death of the life and beauty of the lost relationship. Then he turns away from the pieces and attempts to escape the pain that chases him and pulls the floor right out from under him.
The floral shirt shows that he keeps dwelling on the relationship even wearing the responsibility on his back while looking for a call from his past love and a reason for what went wrong. Then the cell phone fragments into pieces like the relationship.
The colorful room and clothing on the dancers represent the fake beauty of the lost relationship.
The different levels represent different levels or phases in love.
The inner chamber with all the cell phones blinking are memories of the brightness of their love when in bloom and remembrance of love conversations.
When looking at his reflection in the mirror he sees the loss and changes in himself since he sacrificed for the relationship. Now he’s looking at a false image of himself that’s left behind.
Then the throwing of the instrument shows the anger of throwing away his life on this love.
Then the sadness of lying down on a bed of candy in a fetal position might represent the loss of happiness and dreams.
Looking through the fractured walls of depression and loss and covering his mouth with his hand like he’s at a loss for words.
Picking up the sand, the pieces left and the petals of the lost love leaving him, floating away.
The devastation left behind represented by the flood (tears, sadness) and fire (anger and disappointment) with him left in the alone in the middle. Drowning. Burning.
The smile left on his face facing the destruction demonstrates realization and acceptance.
The tunnel leaving the destruction of the realization that it was just a fake Love, not real! Then walking through the door toward a scary new beginning.
The “save me” symbolizing that he once felt that he needed saving but that now he’s fine.
When he’s facing the empty cloth hangers, like several empty relationships through the destruction and coming face to face with the hooded figure which I feel is really the darkness of his inner person, himself. Once he comes to terms with this he’s able to push through all this darkness and ascend up toward a new life, represented by him reaching upward in the end with the help and the unity of his friends that were always there.

10:05 o, Save Me is an ambigram which is a word, art form, or other symbolic representation that holds a meaning when viewed or interpreted from a different perspective. Turning it opside down and you'll see the words I'm Fine. It's used to address depression, anxiety and suicide, and it's like having a secret message and illusion, because people can see it as "I'm fine" but in reality that person should be saved at all costs.
It is so inspiring that BTS used the ambigram to speak about the real life struggles and mental illness, and it's a great relation to their Love Yourself concept - like a reminder to all of us that we should love ourselves. No matter what the flaws we have and things we are dealing with.

Hi BRISxLIFE! For your information, the MV Director of Fake Love by BTS stated that no CGs (Computer Graphics) are used in the MV. That means, the water that can drown Jimin, the explosion that can hit Jin by some sharp broken wood or glass, the moving floor where Jungkook was running from and the fire explosion that can burn Yoongi's ass are all real.

The first half of the album is darker and moodier and then in the middle is the track “Magic Shop” (a song dedicated to the fans) and the moody sound is “traded” for a more positive attitude and the next half of the album is happier and more vibrant.

This is what I've been feeling all along this trip since the beginning with everything that is connected and with Fake Love. Jungkook was never the sacrificed child (Omelas Theorie) for Fake Love and happiness, in fact I felt from the start that he is the one who can save the real self of each and everyone of them. And now that I saw Fake Love it makes so much sense the paper that JK is playing like searching for them in this house that is like a trap for all of them, I think he is trying to reach them and they know but they won't let him maybe to protect him since he still pure inside or they are not ready to break through all this alternal reality, still living in fear, in fact their fears at the end trapped each and everyone. So when JK enter to the space that seems like a Magic Shop the key that it was given to him was the key who would allow him to enter the reality behind the magic shop, the true, the house where all the fears and the true self(of them) is but every time he gets to one of them it is impossible to get through the entrance or space or either they won't let him, as J-Hope holding the door. V's phone represents the one he was using to call for help when he committed his mistake, the hallway where he us is fill with phones? Jin is protecting the crystal box with the flower cause everything is coming down, at the end it turn to sand cause the love that it represented was a lie, Sugar was in a room ready and disposed with his first love a piano again not caring at all for what could happen to him, he even smirk when fire was reaching him. Jimin looked to the roof and saw JK but didn't do anything he was ready to let the water drown him in that close room, and Namjoon knew too that JK was there but still didn't blink or care, they don't want him to get in the middle of where they are, why? Well I'm thinking, because when you are human it's normal to have fears, to hide behind lies, fake love in the matter of finding happiness and those fears may get you to fall for a false happiness a comfortable and easy alternate reality, a lie, and no one but you can save you, no one can give you a hand to get you out. The Fake Love that is being talk about I think it's not between two persons but between many different things in life including our own self. So in that journey they began trading their fears and mistakes for a false alternate universe which I don't doubt Jin tried to fix with loop holes warmholes time traveling, they are the only ones who can complete their journey and reach salvation, healing, accepting what is real, growing, becoming mature enough to face those, that's why JK can't do anything, just watch them. Each and every time the reality(fears, struggles, problems, mistakes) were tried to fix they just dig deeper and deeper in more timelines, the others self were there experiencing those fake things but the true self was just trap with no hope or escape, in their minds, trap inside themself.

Not analyzing everything in a literally way cause they are to be interpreted in a symbolic way😨. I really think the video depicts Jungkook finding out about what Jin's been trying to do... it seems like Jin is giving up, like he thinks he can't save the others because it always falls apart, but the key in the box (from the trailer) let Kook into his behind-the-scenes world. At the end Kook finds the empty glass cage and the sand from Jin's room, and before that he's been spying on the others from what seems to be a world outside of theirs. I think Kook's now going to take the torch to try and save them, or else convince Jin that it can still be done, and that they can do it together.

everybody can interpret as they feel, it's just generally the way Yoongi looked was the way I looked at a certain time, I looked like that at my dad. When I cried but released such a look, and stayed by him though every secind i felt myself crushing and burning. Interpretation depends on experience you had :)

The water,flame and falling floor is all real they didn't use special effects,also the save me is from highlight reel and if you look carefully it says ''i'm fine'' and this all is connected to wings era and highlight reels (someone correct me if i'm wrong about anything)

The floor was not special effects he had a wire attached to him and the floor was really Falling they showed it in the preview on vlive
