Jemilla!! YAY! I hope this helps give a little road map-btw, we're redoing our whole website and I took an lawnmower to our old services pages, too ... so we're in this together. :) Good luck!!

This is so helpful, Ashlyn! I'm a newbie copywriter and don't have "packages" yet, but you're helping me to conceptualize things and take small steps to get there. Thank you for sharing your wisdom!

Rachel!! I love to see it. Copywriting is a stud gig, I hope you enjoy it! LMK if you have any specific q's about getting your packages together, k??

@@AshlynWrites Oh my gosh thank you for the response!! And the kind words.💗 I binge-watch your videos, (you 'tee them up' so intuitively 👏🏻) so I'm really jazzed about all of the copy opportunities out there!
As far as packages... I've been blog writing to hone in on my own voice. So I'm thinking of starting out with something simple, like 'guest blog posts' and then adding a type of 'website copywriting' package. I have my first ever copy client (🎉!!) And I'm helping her rewrite her homepage.
I was a marketer in my past corporate life, but I need a bit of a push to innovate my own offers.
Do you thinks this is a good place to start? TYIA 🤗

@@rachelkrouth7987 I so appreciate that, Rachel. :) Okay-I probably say once a week that there's a gap in the market for solid content writers (a little different, at least in my definition, than copywriters). I'm sure there's a hoard of them somewhere, but I feel like I know a ton of copywriters. I know very few writers off the top of my head who UNDERSTAND copywriting and sales copy, but approach the front of the funnel-blogs, SEO-saturated content copy that's juicy and a delight to read, regular email writing that isn't bottom-of-funnel sales, etc. So I would see if after dabbling in both blog posts and website copywriting, is there one you like more ... because technically, one is a little more upstream in the funnel (the blogs) than the landing page copy (the website homepage).
Eventually, do what you love for SURE. But explore where there could be a gap, too ... :)

@@AshlynWrites Of course! I'm happy to support- I plan on diving into Primed to Launch once I have a few more projects under my belt. 🙌🏼
And that's brilliant! I recently completed AWAI's copywriting course and have been incorporating basic techniques into my posts... But I didn't realize that there's a gap in the market for that!
Thank you for the guidance, Ashlyn. It's very much appreciated. 🙏🏻💕

Hey Ashlyn! Long time fan. Thanks for all the advice you give. It's all gold! You mentioned a landing page / splash page template in the video. Does this exists online? Where can I find them?
