Hello from 2021, I just got Runebound(and all expansions) as a holiday gift for myself, its a 2nd hand but it's complete and in good condition, for a great deal, Yay! for me. This is one of my grail list and will probably be on my top 20 too. Thanks for showing this great game. Kudos! :) P.S. Planning to get Legend of Andor too, but which do you think is best of the 2(no worries, it wont affect my decision to get it).
Oh sweet!!!! This one can be a challenge to snag. I personally like this one better as it is more of a sandbox vs. Legends of Andor. Andor is a more puzzle-style game. It all depends on what you are looking for!
Thank you for this video. One objection i got is you should place your heroes first and THEN fill all markets as stated in manual. But yeah, i also like the idea of filling 'em first so you can plan your starting location better
Huh, did not know that! I always do it after the marketplaces and I don't feel bad about it. There is enough randomness in the game I think it should be OK.
Never understood why they ask you to setup all those adventure gems. So put them out if you only visited them. Saves you time and keeps your board clean
Just a great vid! Question... Can the core set be played solo? I bought it thinking it could.. and I can not find that expansion ANYWHERE ! Bummer! Again, love you video's !!!!!
It can't, sadly, without fan variants. And like you said, while the core set is often available, often quite cheap, the expansion is VERY dear, with no signs of a reprint on the horizon :(
Hey One Stop, Thank you for the play through and setup as i learnt a lot. I do i have a q's though, when you draw skill cards at setup for character are they automatically learnt? or do you have to spend a train action to learn them 1 by one as you do while playing?
Hey Mike! If you want to play this specific scenario Co-op or solo you need: Base, Unbreakable Bonds, and Caught in the Web expansion. BUT if you just want solo/co-op you just need Base, and Unbreakable Bonds. I just chose to do a different scenario. Hope that helps!
I have also Runebound 3ed with Unbreakable Bonds. It is really a great adventure-battle game. The map of the game reminds me a lot to the map of the PC game Heroes of might and magic 3 :-)
Good question David! I would say that it is great, but not perfect. There are still times where you have to make decisions for the A.I. But overall, I still REALLY like the way the combat tokens work with the combat charts! Let me know what you think as you watch the playthrough!
Regarding the skill set setup, I believe you need to have two red, blue and yellow to keep the deck balanced in attributes. Seems like you only took one yellow set there.
I’ve searched high and low for this in the rules but have yet to see where it says this. I’m not saying you are incorrect. I just don’t see it anywhere this specific to the skill deck setup.
This is the expansion this game has been waiting for. So good. Awesome video!
Can't agree more!! Thanks for watching!
Really looking forward to seeing this! Runebound is a very underrated game imo. Thanks for posting!!
Agreed Jason!! Thanks for watching!
Hey Colin! Nice video sir :) Runebound is a classic and this solo expansion adds some great content!
Thank you Adam!! Have you picked this one up yet? :) I would love to watch you explore the Terinoth land!
Very happy to see this one! Thanks, Colin!
Thank you for watching Stasia!
Looking forward to this! I'm a huge fan of Runebound 2nd edition for solo. Really interested in seeing if this expansion can convince me
We shall see Hector! Thanks for watching!
So glad you are doing this run thru
Thank you Lwaxana!!
Yeeeess! I've been waiting for this.
Here it is!! Thanks for watching!
Really looking forward to these. Did not know there was a coop expansion.
Just came out!! Thanks for watching!

Really looking foward to this playthrough. I should have my expansion by this weekend. It might make me get the other expansions.
I will tell you this, you will want the "Caught in the Web" expansion for sure. Having another co-op scenario is key! And this one is a blast!!
Thanks. I'm sure I'll end up getting them all expect the PvP scenario. I'm ok with just missing out on the hero.
Same here!! :)

GREAT point! Certainly could do that! I like that idea a ton! Thanks for suggesting it. When I play solo going forward, I am going to do that!
nice video! i subed :) mine is arriving tomorrow! cant wait for this game to be fully coop!
Totally agree and enjoy!!

@@OneStopCoopShop Shoot... I do appreciate you getting back to me and look forward to listening to more of your old reviews and new ones !

Great question! No those skills are not learned, they are in your hand. You can spend trophies to learn them throughout the game. Hope that helps!
Thank you very much, That solved the main issue!
Hi there
So u need the Base Game and the caught in the web expansion additionaly?

Nice!!!
I'd really really like to try this game!
I'm curious to see how the AI sheets compare with other games' systems.

Hi there, im wondering whats the solo replayability of this game with unbreakable bonds expansion ?
Cheers
Pretty much inifinate! 5 different scenarios and a plethora of heroes to play with, I have never played the same game twice!
awesome setup, explained better than the rule book :-)
Thanks so much!! Appreciate the kind words and you watching :)

BLAST! I missed that! I will place a CC for this now, thank you!

You sir deserve a cookie! A full jar of cookies!
HAHAHAHA! I would so take one!!
Then... Voilà ! ;)
I am waiting impatiently for my FLGS to get this in.
I get that! I decided to pre-order from Fantasy Flight so I got mine right away! Was too excited ha!
Thanks!
Anytime!!
I already know this is going to cost me money. Thanks anyways ;)
Good thing is, it is not too expensive! Nothing like S&S that is for sure!
I hate the token system implemented instead of dice :-(
Totally get that Istvan! I have to say, overall I actually love the token system, but each to their own right?
Yapp.. :-)
