Suggest you check the back stóp setting when change from left side to right. Sometimes you need to adjust it to keep cutters the same length. When edge of disc gets clogged dress with carborundum brick to expose clean grit. Risk overheating cutter if próceed using dirty. Try to avoid going too deep in gullet & compromise the tie straps, especially on LP, light chassis chain. If a chain has hit rock, metal, quite a lot of material has to be removed to reinstate working corner. Regardless if using file or grinder. Some folk conveniently forget this & blame the tool for the shorter loop life. Great tool for home, casual user. Have over 10 years experience with this model & previous version.
Cool thanks for the video I just bought one just like it on Amazon. I just got through mounting it to a plece of pressed board. started to read the manual and decided I would rather watch a video. Thanks for posting. Bucking Billy Ray sharpens past the mark after awhile he gets more out of the chains than they say you can. It dont looks like the grinder takes off but a minimal amount to me. I really grind a lot with the hand file tring to get the chain sharp. I gave up on the hand file some times the chain it too hard for a hand file. So how did it come out good did you test it. You should make a follow up video of it cutting some wood just because you can.
I have a Husqvarna. 325/.50 ga. Chain... What size grinding wheel does it take for this grinder. I just bought one, and I'm a little confused on the markings ? Is the grinding wheel supposed to fit the whole gullet? My chain calls for a 3/16 file... So do you use a 3/16 grinding wheel?

3.2mm Disc is for the .50 .325
The 4.7mm is the 3/8
great!
Wow, almost identical to the harbor freight sharpen. But the harbor freight model uses more plastic, Oregon uses more metal🤷♂️
Can’t hear you. Bummer.
