This song hits me hard. i wish my beloved one would actually realize how painful it is when he does it to me. It's sad that people who have a good heart have to go the extent of letting the relationship loose in order for the significant other to realize what they have. I cant say that only men are at fault, but i can say most men chose their EGO and PRIDE over the one they love.
To me, my pride and ego isn't worth losing over the one I love. I guess it depends on how much you Love someone. If you truly Love someone but still feel regret that you gave up a part of yourself and that person doesn't appreciate it and is upset that they still left you despite you giving your all, then you truly haven't Love that person. They're an attachment rather than someone you Love. Love is selfless, regardless whether they want to be a part of your life or not...your happiness should not have to be dependent upon their happiness.
