Just bought one... LOVE IT! Surprisingly good pickup for a 121hp car (I got the base model). Great handling after I put on 17 inch rims and better performance tires. Awesome trunk space. Do I miss the back seats?... No! I get to say "sorry, I have a two seater" and not give rides to anyone. Just me and a good friend. I've had three MINI'S and this one is the cutest in my opinion. Definitely distinctive and will be a collectible due to it's short production. Perfect run around town car. ❤
I just bought a 2012 JCW version. It's a blast to drive and feels like a small rocket at 211hp. Of course it has its detractors, and there's likely a ton of maintenence in my future, but I can live with that.
I’ve got a blue and black one and it’s ridiculous fun on a twisty road. Does look a bit odd from square on the side but otherwise I like them, looks sporty - I wouldn’t have bought a regular version as there’s too many in England and I prefer the lower stance. You say these have less cargo capacity than the regular Mini but the boot actually has far more space. That’s one of the great things about these, the carrying capacity is useful for taking several bags on a trip. Just a few days ago I was able to fit four professional cameras in their own bags, four tripods and a monopod. You’d never believe that was possible!
I had one of these for seven months when I was at university, but unfortunately wrote it off. That was a blue cooper S with the basic trim and it was an absolute corker of a car and if I hadn’t written it off of all the cars I’ve had since I’ve never wanted a car back like that mini. I genuinely don’t think I would’ve sold. However, I can’t wait for Sunday as I’m picking up my second one. This time Cooper SD as the majority of my driving is now on motorways. It hasn’t got the nav package which I’m quite pleased about because although it does look good, it’s probably getting a bit old but it has got one of the luxury leather interior options and the upgraded sound system, extra lights on the front bumper and the sport pack which gives it some really sexy alloys
I've got the 2012 Cooper S Coupe without the navigation. The center circle is just a great big analog speedometer with a big glowing orange needle and I feel like it has a lot more character than the screen. Also, did this coupe have the headlight washer nozzles? Those things are so dumb but so cool!
I recently bought my first Mini. It happens to be a 2013 Coupe S. I had to fix a few things, but very well worth it. I got mine well under KBB value over in Palmyra PA. it's a fun little beastie to drive. It's a keeper for me!
If you only need a two seater and some practicality, take the coupe, it has 280 liters of cargo capacity, the copper four seater, loose some cargo space for the back seat so it has only 211 liters of cargo capacity. If you want some wind blowing your hair and you don't need to carry any luggage, go with the cabrio with only 125 liters or the roadster with a bit more, 240 liters.

my friend has one and it’s so fun to drive, it’s like a little gokart n the only vehicles i drive are really big so it’s extremely different for me😂
Really don't see any point in a mini having back seats, nobody can sit in them, so this coupe is not only beautiful but practical

Love my 2013 R58S manual Chili Red and Black. It's my second MINI, but was my dream mini even when I bought my previous R56S.
