  • Mild conditions sailing over the x-mas break at Metung, Victoria, Australia. Only excitement was not being able to pinch to weather enough to make it around a sand bar (should of tacked). We went aground and I had to get my foot wet pushing us over the bar. We sailed out of Boxes Creek this year.

Hey, Mack -- it was great to see some more TEMPO action -- especially encouraging now that real winter has set in here. Thanks for another fun view of beautiful TEMPO strutting her stuff. Keep 'em coming.

+RaginCajunsail Build a kayak first, that was what i did. You'll get the skills that way. I'm a bricklayer by trade, but i have done wood work etc. Join a boat building school, you'd be amazed that it can be achieved

Just love your videos and your choice of music. I have a question if you don't mind.
What is the spray bottle for?

foster wayne Thanks, glad you like the videos.
The spray bottle is water for cooling off. It's our on board air conditioning system.

+Antipodean33 , Thanks. Tempo is a 18-foot Modified Sharpie Skiff built from Reuel B. Parker's "The Sharpie Book". We've enjoyed her for 10 years now. It's a good boat.

+tilroh Thank you for the reply. If i do build one for myself (as i am going to build a small sail boat and this design is the nicest i've seen) would you tell me the modifications you chose, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the uploads, gives alot of inspiration

+Antipodean33 Will be happy to talk boats. Buy Reuel's book first. Lots of good low tech advice in there.
