A classic ZZ Top song. Most people aren’t even aware of the many great ZZ Top that never get radio play. I have turned all my friends onto great ZZ Top gems like this one. 🎵
Still my favorite ZZ top album by far, saw on this tour in Columbia...s.c.....76....styx opened, just got tommy shaw, crystal ball had just came out, one of the very best concerts I've ever been too and believe me I have seen tons....been blessed....
This is Gold!! Saw them on this tour at the Met Center, Bloomington MN, in 1977. My first concert. I was 15. "Life is Short., Do the Top." Heaven on Earth with this footage. THANK YOU!!!
You ain't kidding man we're losing our favorite musicians left and right but it's because there hasn't been any good music since our favorite musicians wrote it years and years ago they don't have music like that now RIP Dusty 🙏
We're jealous Richard. That is one tight perfect rockin band to be admired. Wish I'd been there to learn all the greatest licks. Thanks for sharing this.
So sad, Blessings go out to the families, so tragic couldn't stand in the Iowa concert when back to Houston died in his sleep. Man, what a loss, and there's talk of a new ZZTOP release. Lord only knows what's next, 4 rockers in a couple weeks. R.I.P
I never knew Frank was so spun up on heroin. They don’t drag they’re business through the mud. Classy guys this day and age.Frank said it in a interview.
Billy was already working on his epic beard by this time. Just think, it was another year and then some before Billy and Dusty would see themselves with their new long beards
Unfortunately I don’t. Most likely the rest of this show is sitting in a vault somewhere. This comes from a French documentary which contains a few bits of early ZZ Top footage.
Dusty was so bad ass. There is no ZZ Top without him. Billy and Frank are just Billy and Frank. Dusty made them ZZ Top. 🥺💔🎸
I can’t wait to see them with the new addition . Dusty gave his blessings before he passed on .
Us die hard fans are thankful .
One of their best and often overlooked albums, TEJAS. ( My future wife had on 8-track, 1979!)
I'm playing along with this ( on guitar) right now. Now that I'm 65, and FINALLY, know what to do!😊

Yeah like Mexican Blackbird or Blue Jean Blues.

Classic vintage footage. Not enough out there of ZZ from these days. Most material available is 79-80 going forward.

That’s awesome man, I’m jealous! I wish I had got to see them back then. Saw them in 2018, they killed it. Wish we had more footage of the 70s ZZ Top.
Saw um in this tour too, one of the best shows ever!!
Saw them in the spring of 1977. Unforgettable.
Man , Billy's playing is always right on the money.
I wore out this 8-track, great album. :)
I wore every tape & vinyl out on this album
Ol' Pearly Gates gettin' a workout
Bluespower : you sure got a way with words......!

R.I.P. Mr. DUSTY HILL
ROCK IN PEACE
I wish they had the full show from New Year's Eve
You ain't kidding. I can almost smell the barbecue ... !! 😎
RIP Dusty💔
I doubt very much the members of ZZ Top thought of this as a job? Every show I ever went to seems like they were at a party having fun..
A monster tone moment.
Can’t ever beat a cranked Marshall into a 59 Les Paul!

DAMMMNNNN Billy was tearing off a piece at the top!
Wow. They were on it this show.
Happy New Year
Drivin' while blind. Yes, I have...and caused no one no harm.
Billy was already working on his epic beard by this time. Just think, it was another year and then some before Billy and Dusty would see themselves with their new long beards
Where can we see this entire concert?? amazing footage!
unfortunately I don’t believe any more footage available, most likely either locked in a vault somewhere or destroyed
👍👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘😎😎😎😎😎
RIP Dusty
ZZ from the bottom to the TOP
It might be over down here Dusty; but you'll be bogie in up there.
Was there done that
Do you have any more from this show?
Unfortunately I don’t. Most likely the rest of this show is sitting in a vault somewhere. This comes from a French documentary which contains a few bits of early ZZ Top footage.
This was zz. Not that terrible 80’s sellout schlock!
What is a "sellout"? Top can do what it wants. Don't need demandy-fans like you
Zz didn't sell out...we bought in
@@wooge3199 "Stages" is great boogie to me!
10 dollar man live
Love that song! Wish there was more video of them in the 70s.
