    I have some Georgian blood and proud of it. It is a great feat to have suffered so much, countless times of wars, invasions, massacres and they still to hang on to their original language, alphabet, customs and folklore too. Unfortunately I lost my wife, a Georgian to cancer, but I will visit Georgia with my daughters. Long live Georgia!

      And I just don’t want other people from different places stealing it

    • @margottfon330
      @margottfon330 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nino_fruitlillauy7298 Nino, I'm really hoping you were kidding. Just wearing it, is paying respect to your culture, whereas the 'stealing' is when other cultures perform in those costumes+ not only they perform our traditional dance, but claim it's theirs (doesn't fully work out, but still). Are you aware of such scenario?

    • @nino_fruitlillauy7298
      @nino_fruitlillauy7298 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tinatin Shengelia what I was saying is that if your not from that culture that wears those traditional clothing then why do you need to wear it.You should wear your own cultures traditional clothing not someone else’s.It’s as simple as that✨✨✨✨💕💕💕💕

    • @nino_fruitlillauy7298
      @nino_fruitlillauy7298 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tinatin Shengelia even if your “Just Wearing It” its still disrespectful and you should wear your own traditional clothing not go wearing other people’s culture , unless you have no traditional clothing then I guess that’s your problem not other people’s cultures problem!!!!!!❤️👍🏾

    backgrounds, even our greatest royal dynasties are the same: bagratuni (barationi for you), georgians fought with armenians in many battles across history including the battle of avarayr in 451 where we took a stand against the pagan persians. anyways you don't have to like armenians, but you cannot deny that we are related

    This my last writing about this subject. Music is excellent, I always loves Georgian dance and Music. I have their shows from London, Paris and Istanbul. They are the best Kavkas can offer at this point. I have no hate for anyone and yes I am an Abkhazian (maybe the fake one as you put it) considering our common history it is sad we have no trust to each other. Biggest bloodsheds are always amongs the family members.

    wow the dancing is amazing! w/ the Persian/Georgian thing, from an outsider's view the dancing looks similar (not identical) in costuming & style. I do see big differences in the mood of the dancing; especially the men's. Both Persian and Georgian are superb dance styles. The music also has some similarities in terms of the drums. Probably the people like all neighboring countries have similarities & differences. Look at a satellite photo & u will not see national borders, just a shared world.

    • @margottfon330
      @margottfon330 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, but it's not Persian/Georgian. And the cultural plagiarism doesn't necessarily go from those who you know, to those whom you don't. Sometimes its other way round. And others attempting to dance on bend toes(unlikely ballet, straitened toes and point shoes) had been lately passed to the International Court of Justice, under the 'plagiarizm'/author's rights paragraph.

    Because world has become so much more communicative and it is easier for anyone to check out anyone elses culture unlike before when you had to travel for long time to reach other cultures and find out, now everyone can see who is who and who projects what.
    I can tell you one thing, every time Georgians dance their enemies power over them gets weaker! every time Georgians Dance Russian occupants power and influence wanes, every time Georgians Dance they project what people are looking for!

    According to the Georgian chronicle Juansher's Concise History of the Georgians, Armenians, Georgians and Albanians had one father named Togarmah (Torgom), who was a descendant of Japheth, son of Noah. Torgom divided his land among his sons, and gave to one of them, by the name of Bartos, the "territory from the Berdahoj river to the region of the Kur river to the sea where the conjoined Erasx (Aras) and Kur rivers enter it".
