TRY THIS you can press the windows key + the number row keys for launching the applications on the taskbar for eg. if i have the mail as the first icon on the taskbar i can press windows + 1 to launch it

Alt+V+HH(Two times continues).. This helps you opening hidden files and clossing hidden files quickly
