Just saw Jeffery this weekend at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta. I'm in my late 40's and my parents played LTD and Jeffey's solo albums when I was coming up. Too see him live ...mannnnn...the energy was banana's.. He is 73 and can blow these youngers cats at the water today.. Stage presence is bananas, voice is STRONG and CRYSTAL CLEAR. Energy is like he is 20 and performance wise..he commands your attention.
This is back when MUSICIANS PLAYED LIVE INSTRUMENTS AND SINGERS SANG LEAD AND BACKGOUNDS LIVE WITHOUT USING TRACKS LIKE MOST ARTIST DO TODAY! Also when they got rid of bands originality in music was lost!
Fell in love with Jeffrey when LTD opened for the Jacksons in 1979. Have seen Jeffrey live in concert over 12 since then. As long as he tours, I’ll be in the audience. He is absolutely phenomenal.

I remember as a milwaukee born child, one summer, going "down south" to atlanta during summer vacation from school... My aunt had a record player and this song was on the B side... I no longer remember the hitside of that forty five record... But over that summer I played "holding on" about 20 times a day for 6 weeks. I loved that song and i've only heard it a few times since... I've never seen it actually being performed... This obscure video has really made my year...

Saw L.T.D and the Jackson's on Oct 28, 1979 at the Springfield Civic center in Springfield MA... the first and best concert I've ever been to.
The level of singing and musicianship here is off the scale.......but normal for this era.
